ART v. JUNK :A threat to NewGrounds

I have been thinking a lot recently since I joined the Blam club, about how much junk is actually on NewGrounds. I found NewGrounds about a year ago some how, I really don't know. Over the past year I have really grown to love this site and I come here almost everyday. Some people come here to submit work that is absolutely beautiful, pieces that have potential to become a hit series or part of a pop culture with the right exposure. Others come here to submit flash work that is so much less than sub-par, an actual waste of space both figuratively and realistically. Others like my-self are consumers of NewGrounds. We come to view others work in hope of finding something great and interesting.
This is in fact a museum of sorts. A place where we can enter free of charge (except for the occasional pop up ad) and view a break through art medium. And like the consumers of the free market we have the ability to stand up and say “I really like this All your 5's are belong to you” or ”I hate this BLAM”. The trouble is the ratio of good flash art vs. junk and our ability to sort through it fast enough. For every one really good piece of work that I come across I have to go through at least 5 movies that should not have been submitted in the first place. For example recently a NewGrounds member by the name of Firestormkirby, submitted three movies all with a character by the name or Armor Knight. Every single one of his movies were horrible and were blammed. However this member for some strange reason has decided to continue to keep posting these movies, despite the fact that he receives bad reviews and low votes. Now what I see is someone who is a threat to NewGrounds. Yes an actual threat. There is only on reason why somebody would keep submitting junk movies to the site, because they do not care about what this site is trying to accomplish, a place where independent artists and entrepreneur can work on honing and perfecting their craft. Where else can you submit art and be critiqued by 79,000 of your peers with not only votes but actual suggestions and thoughts on the piece. This is in fact a giant focus group, a FREE giant focus group. People get paid hundreds of thousands of dollars to put togther focus groups for companies and the entertainment community to test their products.
Anyway the problem is the amount of pollution that is placed on this site. Can you imagine removing all of the junk entries. And I am not talking about entries that actually took effort but need a little work, only those that are there only because those people are bored and refuse to try and produce something worth while. I would love to go through the portal and find only movies and games that were actually put there for a legitimate reason. To express an idea, to gain insight, because it is art or because it is good entertainment. This is why I go and blam as many bad flash works as possible, so that the real stars can shine and true art can be recognized. That’s all I have to say I hope to receive some replies to this both positive and negative.

correct me if i am wrong but, junk entries, while being stupid and pointless, do not actually take up that much space. a stupid movie could take up no more then a few hundred KB. i admit there are alot of them and shouldnt be here. but they're not really as big a problem as you say.
i just tell you to continue your blamming ways, but how many flash can you get rid of in one day? now think of how many crap flashes get submitted each day?

Your quest is a noble one indeed. but in the end the spam will always suceed. untill tom or wade take control and fight the crap flash will the good artist shine through.

also who is to decide what stays and what goes, something worth a 5 to one person could be shit and worht a 0 to another.

but thats just my opinion, i could be wrong.

I think its funny that you responded because I have give your stuff zeros many times and I m pretty sure your on the blam list as well. and then you dont even say anything at all just like in your movies.
