While the Matrix stuff would be cool, wouldn't you rather be able to sense what is happening rather than having to rely on slowing down time. The third matrix movie was terrible anyway and the third star wars movie rocked, and the lightsabers are so damn cool.

So, by just a hair, I would choose being a jedi over being the one.

Considering how all the jedi (except luke) die and "the one" dies too it really doesn't matter. I'd be the one though just so I could beat the shit out of hundreds of the same guy with a fricken pole and then fly away.

Let me see, each trilogy had movies that proved to be let-downs. But I'd rather cut down stormtroopers with my lightsaber then bend a spoon, so Star Wars it is.

Yeah but Neo doesn't even have to dodge or block bullets... he just stops them in mid-flight. As for the lightsaber, Neo would probably block it with his hand and just have a small burn mark, instead of having his hand chopped off. Like in that scene where Neo blocks that big sword with his hand in Reloaded.
