Why is lilium #1

I'm kinda confused, i mean decent graphics i guess, but really graphic and no real point to it. Just curious what others had to say. But then i am more of a fan of there she is!!!

I wasn't meaning to imply that one was nesesarily better amoung popularity just that there seems to be more talent involved in one over the other. Use of 3d and even a plot that makes sense

I did make one, you can check it out, but i will let you know it isn't that good, my only reply is that i am making another one that has improved greatly and that lilium is not the best thing on the portal

Bah, if you payed more attention to the portal you'd know that number always changes. I've seen it be 4.35, 4.26, 4.24, 4.15, and 4.10 for months. Those are the numbers that stick out most in my mind when I think of equal-scores in the top 50. It always gets stuck on something, because everyone is too busy voting five on what they want up and voting zero on anything else they don't want. It all counteracts each other until things get stuck together.

And I don't know, I thought that flash was 4.18 worthy at most, it'll drop soon due to people unknowingly mass zeroing it because it isn't the flash they want to see on top. The top 50 is ever hectic. -_-;;

Yeah, There she Is had a lot of good techniques to it. The artist really knew how to work flash.

Movies get number one on opinion.

Lilium was different. It was like a storybook, and the anime-style was pulled off nicely. It was artsy and the strange story seemed to draw in an audience.
The pacing wasn't too fast or too slow. It kept the audience entertained. The usage of flash was good. It wasn't like the "recent submissions" you see on NG. The presentation was Awesome and the idea was original.
I ain't saying that you should like Lilium, but it does have its good qualities.

Anyway, I like There She Is, but it doesn't surprise me that others get #1. After all, the others have good presentations. And it depends on who votes on it too.

There are more then likely 100's of flash that could be named " better then Lilium." Maybe the reason it is a site topper this week or so is because it has deeper meaning to alot more people. How you look at some could reflect if you see a plot there or not.

Voting power alone cannot place a flash at #1. Sure it helps but you need alot of people to like a flash and vote high on it for that flash to even reach the top 50.
