What is the easiest cheapest software for making audio. I know it sounds like I am a newb but please help me out.

get audacity. its free, it sucks but it's still something. or get FL Studio for $99. that's the cheapest. i have an FL Studio 5 Producer's Edition, and im working well with it. you can look at my songs on the bottom link if u want.

i got my MAGIX Music Studio Deluxe for something like $80.... it's real nice for what i've been recording lately.

I think for any software you use - whether its fl, reason, cubase etc. Using what they give you alone will not do your songs justice - you have to go out and soup up your programs - by adding more vsti's buzzeffects, etc, etc

Well the cheapest will be Acid Express or something but that is garbage just get fruityloops.

Well it is not really garbage it is just not good.

Yeah do like Crono says soup up your software with stuff which you could find of a lot of free ones.
