I don't think 3d Studio Max has a downloadable version.
However, if you click
here then you can download a fully funtional version of Maya, an awesome 3D program!
Thats right, Alias offers free Maya 3D software at their website. The only problem is its limited with OS compatibility. Check it out and see if it'll work.

i wasn't sure if you meant bringing 3D elements into Flash, or faking 3D elements in flash....
but i've never used Maya....im real good with 3D Studio Max though.

i tried 3d studio max ....i don't really like it...im currently trying rhino 3d and animation master
*sigh* so much work to be good at this kind of stuff ....i've spent 10 hrs a day for a month working on stuff!

yeah, 3D stuff takes a lot of effort, no matter how complex and advanced the software you're using is. All software needs the proper ammount of input in order to know what to do to get the results you're looking for. for 3D flash i suggest amorphium because you can model in 3d with it, or vecta 3D.
