Did anybody see the ECW pay per view on Sunday? It was probably the most amazing wrestling event I ever went to. It completly blew any doubt of it being bad clear out of the water. From start to finish, it was just pure fun and a great show to watch.

Yeah, that moonsault over the balcony was insane. The Awsom/Tanuki match was probably the highlight of the evening.

Tanoko looked weak, but that d00d went through hell, and still kicked out.
Yeah, that was awesome.

Yeah, Heyman's segment was another great part of the show. I figured when he'd come out, he'd just do a little speech, but man did he rip the WWE a new asshole.

Man... It was easily the best PPV in the last five years and a dose of nostalgia on a monumental scale. The Paul E/RVD shoots alone contained more emotion than anything WWE's 'creative writers' have ever created. Mike Awesome stole the show, and the Sandmans entrance was spectacular.

RIP ECW :(
At least it finally got the send-off it always deserved.

I wouldn't say that. Theyy've already signed loads of ex-ECW workers and are hinting around at a possible invasion angle.

pffft. Come on. VInce McMAhon knows thta the fans are willing to pay money for ECW merchandise so I wouldn't be surprised to find that he brings it back as a permanent thing. If not that then they do an ECW pay per view once a year or something like that.

Not to mention some rumors going around that Vice might let Paul Haymen run ECW himself, and basically fund it. I mean, look at Smackdown, that show is going down the shitter. Imagine if ECW just gobbled up that spot, man, ratings would spike so high.

I heard about that too, but I'm not big on the idea. If anything, WWE needs to put out an ECW PPV just like ONS maybe once or twice a year. Another invasion would suck, in my opinion. I say either do something great that stays true to ECW or just leave it be. They shouldn't do something like ONS and then fuck around with it.

Actually, this week's SD! preview hints at that :

Also, what will be the fallout from ECW’s One Night Stand pay-per-view when SmackDown! visits Hershey, PA., this week?

JBL and his Cabinet and Kurt Angle were among the Superstars that invaded the One Night Stand pay-per-view Sunday.

The wild show from New York City ended with former ECW wrestlers and WWE Superstars brawling in the middle of the ring.

Plus, what’s next for the volatile Eddie Guerrero?

I smell a Benoit/Guerrerro feud...
Too bad Angle isn't at SD! to feud with Tazz though...

In all honesty, I think a permanent revival of ECW would put the WWE shows in jeopardy. Heh, I'm all for it, but I'm not sure Vince would be.

Vince doesn't really care about the WWE shows anymore, as long as he and his corporate goons are making enough money out of this, but not enough where ECW could break off and become its own show again. In any situation, even if ECW is revived, it'll still be under WWE contract.

Like they're not already? Lets face it WWE is going down the shitter. Sd sucks, raw is a bit better but only because they have the better wrestlers but they still don't use most of them properly. I'm still waiting for Jericho to get another title Shot and I think I'll be waiting for a LONG time.

Heh, I'm all for it, but I'm not sure Vince would be.

If Vince wants to make money then he'll revive it at least partially for some PPV's or something althugh is till think that reiving it completley would be amazing. RVD actually being used to his full potential. Tajiri actually getting the air time he deserves.........WWE sucks at using their talent

The thing I'm wondering is whether or not Vince would risk sacrificing WWE, his baby, to revive a better product in Paul's ECW. It makes sense from a business point of view and it's what everyone wants because WWE is fucking stale, and we all know there's nothing Vince likes more than truck full of cash, but who knows.....

Actually, he's gonna wrestle Cena for the title at Vengeance, and I predict he'll win and then head over to SD! That, or Christian will win. One thing's for sure, Cena is staying on RAW, cause I don't want to see that HHH crapfest that took place last year...

All Vince needs to do is admit defeat with the WWE shows, but being the stubborn bastard he is that's asking a lot. I don't think it takes a genius to realise that Vince rarely makes the right choices.

Give ECW back to Paul Heyman, get rid of Eric Jackoff, keep Vince out of sight and I'm a happy guy.
