Actually, what I'd really appreciate here is some feedback. If any of you feel like doing something, grab an artist with more than 2 loop submissions, and rate their submissions in descending order, based on one criteria: suitability for the AP front page

Any of the submitting artists can do it with their own loops, too.

It will help narrow down the choices. I don't suppose that any audio artist will have more than one loop used, so if we can pick their best track, it will save time in the selection process.

http://www.newground..436515&sub=27612 - Doesn't show much in the way of development (yeah, I know it's tricky in a 15s loop). I like the FF-style harp, but the loop needs to be harder-hitting, and have a more varied bassline. - 6/10
http://www.newground..436515&sub=27613 - Like it, but again, no real dynamic changes in the loop. - 7/10
http://www.newground..436515&sub=25579 - I like this it has a good beat, and a good hook line/riff - 9/10
http://www.newground..436515&sub=26842 - Like this too, it has substance too it, and a cool bassline. No real hook line, though - 6.5/10
http://www.newground..436515&sub=27279 - Good, but a little repetitive (within itself, not just as a loop) - 6/10

In conclusion, I think http://www.newground..436515&sub=25579 is ShinDenjin's best track. I can definitely imagine it on the AP front page.

I'm not going to review my own songs... I don't feel like it's fair, since I will have a biased opinion on my own songs. Also, I'm only going to review the loops of those with 3 or more loops.

http://www.newground..814022&sub=26604 - 8/10 I love this one, and isn't it time for trance to be on the front page? However, lack of a progression could be the deciding factor against it... as it is though, it's pretty damn good.

http://www.newground..814022&sub=26605 - 7/10 This is damn smooth, groovin' shit right here. The drums are so smooth, and it makes everything flow very nicely. However I'm also listening to the songs for like 2 minutes to see if it will get too repetitive, and unfortunately this is already starting to get a little bit annoying after about a minute and a half. Lack of progression to keep it interesting, hard as it may be in a 10-15 second loop, is hurting.

The melody is very sweet, however the only thing that kept me from giving this a 10/10 is that it might be too light for some of the AP visitors. I however think that if I heard this on the AP frontpage, I would be pleasantly surprised, 'twould be a good change from the dark, more heartpounding Paragon stuff.

http://www.newground..638435&sub=26482 - 9/10 That melody is really cool, very videogamish... but the thing that kills it is that the high frequency has so much gain that everything is a bit shrill. If that were corrected though, I reckon this could be a clear winner for AP frontpage status. Excellent, excellent melody, and the progression keeps it interesting throughout. Very nice.

http://www.newground..638435&sub=26483 - 9/10 Haha, this would be a very cheerful adition to loops for the frontpage. This sounds exactly like a generator tune, lol. Anyway, very catchy and addicting, and I think it would work well.

http://www.newground..638435&sub=18984 - 7/10 Definitely not as good as your other keygenerator loop. The little R2D2 sounding beeps and boops give it a bit of humor, but the melody and bassline are not as catchy and sweet sounding.

http://www.newground..638435&sub=18982 - 8/10 A very cool sounding loop, hehe, the only thing is that it's soo loud it's peaking. The melody is very entrancing though, I'll give you that, damnit!

If there ever was anything to complain about, maybe it's a little noisy but not so noisy you can't hear the cool riffs! It's a brilliant loop and I hope it makes it to the AP Front Page.

If there ever was anything to complain about, maybe it's a little out of time, but that's what makes the loop different and new compared to some other loops. This is a brilliant loop too and I hope this gets to the AP Front Page aswell.

This is all Iwant to do for the moment but maybe I'll do some more in a future post.

Just had a listen. In my opinion it's definately better than your other loop it's well played and catchier, but maybe u could put a simple/subtle solo over the top of it as well to give it more of a hook? I would say 8/10.

ok... *cracks knuckles* here we go! These reviews reflect mine and my brothers views on the songs. We can be brutal - so leave your egos at the door please.

gooch - Fast Loop 1: - too simplistic - and long - in my opinion. Sounds very much like basic fl sounds - but I also have to take into account gooch only has 18 sounds - and as I can relate - he still has a lot of improving to do. Sadly this song became annoying to me halfway thru the second time. overall 5/10.

D.S.T.C. Loop(16 secs) - kudos to putting time duration - something I lacked. Very upbeat tune! Might be a tad long tho - I also am not sure if I could listen to it over and over - it was a very funky beat tho - overall 8/10.

Fleets loop (12sec) - VERY smooth! This just flows so nicely - I could DEFINITELY see this on the audio front page - and listen to it over and over - im very much impressed! Sorry but I have to go OMFG! for someone to get a 10 - this was almost omfg. overall 9/10.

El Amor Si Muere loop (13secs) - eh. I'll admit its a very well constructed song - I'm just not feeling it - so I guess this one just collides with personal tastes. overall 7/10.

Ion Storm Remix loop (12secs) - very much too intro for front page - you always expect the beat to come in and it never does - I think if he had looped the part that came after this it would have been better. This loop leaves too much to be desired. This song however if looped differently has much potential. overall 7/10.

Power Cookies loop (16secs) - needs a different beat synth - that synth just annoyed me. Not a very suitable beat in my opinion. overall 5/10.

Strange Love loop (12secs) - with a little more delay and reverb I think this would be a good contender for frontpage - as it stands however it still lacks something. overall 7/10.

Implications loop (13secs) - euh - don't get me wrong - I LIKE this song - its just that I couldnt listen to the loop over and over. It doesnt have repetition appeal - a good song overall tho! overall 8/10.

Ellipses Loop (15secs) - sweet song - I could see this on the front page. overall 9/10.

overall: fleet's loop and ellipses loop - definitely. The rest need more work.

Acid DnB' short - there is no hook in this loop - as a result it is a tad boring to listen to. overall 4/10.

Ultimation short - WOULD have been a great contender if it hadn't been so repetetive. A bit of changing about some notes would have made this song an 8.5. overall 7.5.

Lectro Rhythm #1 short - don't like the bass - and overall don't like the song - clash of personal preference is all. overall 6/10.

Lectro Rhythm #2 short - better than the first one - pretty catchy - overall 8/10.

3Zm Attack short - um, ok? Not my thing - seems to need mroe work. overall 4/10.

overall Lectro Rhythm #2 seems the best.

Bjra - all of Bjra's songs have been removed from newgrounds - sorry dude I guess you got your wish!

B0UNC3 -Banshee [AP Loop] - I could see this on frontpage tho - however - repeated listening to it WILL drive me insane. overall 8.5/10 -some advice B0UNC3 - make a short loopable from paradise on E - you won't go wrong with that one, trust me!

also go listen to:
#15 *+*+xxxxdasfsfd-remastered+*+* - and tell me if i took a loop from that would it be better?
#30 +*+*transformers*+*+ - It loops 3 times but I can easily make it loop once and I can assume you its very addictive lol.
#44 *+*+Lagoon: Broken Voloh+*+* - this was a very popular song - very mellow but could be very addicting.
As for my carnival loop - I actually submitted that by accident - ignore it lol.

And lastly check out #68 *+*+Zeal Remix+*+* - notely for the repetitive crystal arpeggio which is VERY addicting. Consider these MAYBE loops.

7 Kisses Loop 3 (12s) - if it wasnt so muffled - I'd say "sure!" as it is tho if i listen with headphones the muffledness ruins it. overall 8.1/10.

3rd String 1st Fret Loop (16s) - hehehe calm and hip - loops seamlessly - even on newgrounds. Unfortunately I dont know how to gauge the general public's reaction to this tho. Still this is definitely a contender for front page. Its very addictive as well. overall 9/10.

Goodbye - Loop (16s) - sadly I dont think the general public would react too strongly to this one. Kewl loop but not front page material in my opinion. overall 7/10.

7 Kisses Loop 5 (10s) - VERY not my thing - I am not gonna even judge this one. overall N/A.

Spook Loop (14s) - possible contender - I dunno I'll let the others decide on this one. overall 8.8/10.

overall 3rd String 1st Fret Loop and maybe Spook loop.

Hustle (Incomplete) - very much a Kingbastard sounding song - its very well done - but as I told B0UNC3 - I cant listen to this over and over without going insane - heck I can barely listen to it once without going insane. You're music is a tad too avante-garde for me erkie. overall 9.1/10 but I still dont consider it suitable for front page sadly.

This may have nothing to do with the loops...but has anyone else noticed that the music on the ap main page is at like max overload volume. I was listening to real playerat 100 percent volume and the song that was playing just got drowned out by the paragonx9's little loop. Its annoying....there

I took all your votings to heart and make some new loops and improved some others - while discarding the ones you didn't like.
Here is the new roster:
