I dont know if all, if any UK block busters get viewed in US cinema , but i juz wanna know.

28 days later is quite possibly one of the greatest modern horror movies (ITS ACTUALLY GOOD! AND HAS A GOOD PLOT!! LOLOL!) and its british. Alot of UK films are just shite. But everything about 28 days later including the way it was filmed is genius (It was filmed with a wide aspect DV camera)

So, was it in US cinemas? Or just europes?

Shaun of the Dead done well in the U.S despite being pretty much British humour, but that was because it's so Ultra-L337 i suppose.

If the men of property will not support us, they must fall. Our strength shall come from that great and respectable class, the men of no property.

I think that there are English movies that are good enough.
To a large extent "28 Days" is a very good horror film, but other titles like "Snatch (Pigs and Diamonds)" or "Lock and Stock" are very good enough, and I´m charmend with them..
Also I remember "Full Monty", too, wich is very enterteining.
It's not also necessary to forget of classic (for my) as "The Clockwork Orange" or the movies of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" and "Brian's Life".
So I think there are very good UK Films that you can see in US.

I thought 28 Days Later was one of the biggest shits of a movie...

Shawn of the Dead on the other hand... that was pure directive goodness. Humor+Horror mixed in a homo-erotic blend of ecstasy and oranges.

It was in america, wasn't very big though. Personally I really liked it, the movie deviated from a typical zombie outbreak flick. It touched on the more mental and emotional side of the issue, long overdue in my oppinion. Still I did think the ending was lacking. But like I said before, it's nice to see a movie without four men with rifles locked in a room going, "Lets kick some ass mothafuckas."
