shrinking/compressing swf file size

How do i compress the file size of my flash? I've tried getting flash compressors online but none of them seem to work at all. Unless anyone knows of a good one that will work?

The best compressor is your brain. Think before you publish. Do not use jpegs or any other no traced pictures. Do not use videos. Lastly do not use whole songs or multiple ones when you will only be using portions.

If you just set your sound files to "Stream," if they aren't already, it should reduce the filesize a whole lot.
I don't know a whole lot about file compression, but usually it's the music that takes up the most memory.
How do you make your sounds stream?????
