Well there is a Serious short collection and Funny cartoons. Check those out.

For instance, say I were to make a thread on the BBS asking if everyone who liked [my flash] could submit it for the [xyz] collection. Or if I used the "authors' comments" field to do that. Or if I used review-responses to do that.
I think that if this kind of thing were allowed, everybody would start doing it all the time, and that would suck. Is there a plan for dealing with this kind of abuse, for example, warning and then account deletion?
Also, how does the collection suggestion system work - is everyone's suggestion equally weighted, or do people with more voting experience have more power?
I think these questions got overlooked. I too, would like to know more about the system for submitting flashes to collections, as well as the possibility and probablity for abuse of the system. I, for one, would like to see quality among the collections, not an abuse of an author's power.
...Phew! I was getting ready to start screaming about Game pages bragging about "best of 2002" and seeing not a single new entry in pages that have had hundreds of worthy submissions appropriate to them. Bravo!
"From the land beyond Beyond..." Hey, wait a sec- isn't that just here? Where's that genie?
Superb idea! What would be even cooler would be to see some way of ranking you on how many of your reccomendations get taken. It'd almost be like getting a protection point. However, the system could backfire as people would suggest everything. I'd almost say that if such a thing were to be done you'd need to do it like the whistle system where you can be punished for submitting wrong ones. I think you'd want to give people a wide berth there though, as some people's tastes just wouldn't be mainstream and not necessarily have movies or games that would make it. I think now I'm rambling...
In any event, great idea.
Tom i hate you! you banned my account when i rarely even submit reviews! i don't even know if this reply will reach you because of the ban that makes no sence. please unban me!
