Example, I was putting SWGR:SE in Star Wars and then after submitting, I thought it'd be perfect for Music Videos. So I tried again but it wouldn't work. So do you think this should be fixed.
Define what the "problem" is and why it should be "fixed."
I'm sure there's a prompt in there about all of that when you click the submit button - like, "you have chosen, XYZ - is this correct?". And you're not allowed to suggest the submission for any other collections after you've done that.
I'm not convinced that this a bug, more that you didn't pay enough attention to what you were told at the time of suggesting... I dunno, it's late here. :)
For some odd reason, when I tried to submit MGS3: Boss Failures to the Metal Gear collection, the check box wouldn't work. I reloaded it like 3 or 4 times. Then as I was submitting Pokemon: Unseen Episode to the Pokemon collection, I scrolled over the Metal Gear collection check box and it highlighted. I found that odd.
Dope. Been waiting for this for to long, since liljim first mentioned it several million years ago.
Good shit, =) ...

I tried submitting Tomorrow's Nobodies Ep2 into the Tomorrow's Nobodies collection but I can't check the box.

Is there going to be some bylaw that limits the extent to which Flash authors can 'campaign' for their flash to be added to a collection?
For instance, say I were to make a thread on the BBS asking if everyone who liked [my flash] could submit it for the [xyz] collection. Or if I used the "authors' comments" field to do that. Or if I used review-responses to do that.
I think that if this kind of thing were allowed, everybody would start doing it all the time, and that would suck. Is there a plan for dealing with this kind of abuse, for example, warning and then account deletion?
Also, how does the collection suggestion system work - is everyone's suggestion equally weighted, or do people with more voting experience have more power?
That's awesome. Don't have time right now to check it out, but I can't wait to see it in action. It's awesome that we're finally getting to see the fruits of James's labor in terms of this collections thing.
Also: congratulations to this month's winner of the 100 bucks. Even though they won't ever see this message. :-)

Oh, so that's what that button does.

There Should be a Metal Slug collection..I always see a few Metal Slug Flashes, and theres a few that I cant find, that I know exist.

You forgot to put an S at the end of collection! It's http://www.newgrounds.com/collections, not collection. :P
What this guy said :P
At Clockcrew.net, we have a system called Clockopedia, where a bunch of details about our history and such are stored. We could use this for the collections page, and add a bunch of other additional stuff to it, such as movies, games, current site, past sites and more. I'll be willing to do some of the load for the Clockcrew Collections.
Does any other CC member agree that I should? Does anyone think I should not?
Sounds like a good plan. NGers could gain a lot more insight into the history of the Clock Crew, and some things currently on the collection page could be corrected (for instance, StrawberryClock never claimed the title "king of the portal" for himself).
Great idea! I thought the collections were getting a little stale. Now the worload is cut in 1/2 for submissions on your side by having NG users do a lot of the work. I Hope it doesn't get abused too badly...

Even though I joined like, an hour ago as RupeeClock, yes I agree, the ClockCrew collection page needs much updating.
Sounds good. I always liked the collections pages. Now it will be easier to find lost files...assuming it was catagorized correctly.
