Oh dear. If only random scripts could pick people with good names.
Nice collections thing though
This will be a day long remembered.
Now I'm off to suggest GrandfatherClock's Steven Hawking movies to be put in the Steven Hawking collection. :)
does that mean the will finally be an fbf collection its kinada retarded that u dont have one also people should be able to blow the whistle on pure crap
Oh also tom, I made sure to remind jimsween not to flag any more of your movies, hopefully that threat's gone, but you never know with that guy, he is pretty damn stupid.

Please no. I really like the old movies, and reminescing about the Good ol' days
At 6/9/05 04:34 PM, StrangeClock wrote: Awesome, Tom! I've anxiously awaited the time when Collections would start getting updated again, and on a regular basis.
Question: Does this also mean some collections can be purged of old submissions? Not just old links to movies that are long since removed or replaced, but also - bad movies and stuff that were cool for a moment 3-4 years ago.
I'm not trying to be an elitist dick, it's just that some movies in collections are really awful and obviously given a permanent link on NG simply because the standards of those days were way lower and they were just the flavor of the day. I mean, check out some of the stuff in the Megaman collection.
You speak truth Strange. I know for a FACT that there are BLAMMED movies in collections.
Also last I heard Darkarchon was a Clock crew collection mod. He made a thread on CCUK asking for suggestions. I hope he listened to mine cause I put alot of time into it. >:(
I would also like to request we can be able to suggest collections.
I would like a Anime collection! I CANNOT find one!
FUCK HENTAI! The idea that there is a Hentai collection and not a Anime one is a insult to real anime fans and serious authors who do not wish to be associated with the "soft core porn" section called the Hentai gallery and it gives real anime a bad name!

clocks suck don't tell the clock crew...
Go suck it. And make a flash movie fag.
At 6/9/05 05:19 PM, NLowrider wrote: After this gets all worked out how about a "Favorite Collections" drop down menu on profiles.
Just a suggestion.
Are you ever going to make a new template for the profiles anyway?
Yeah that would be a good idea, but it might look crowded with yet another button on the protal pages, but thatsa great hting to ad to profiles
isn't kinda funny how your name is probably based on the maxwell edison story exepct don't have it listed as your favorite movie or your favorite author...
Horray. Now Sonic: Uncut can finally make it on the Sonic page. Even greater would be a series page....;D
Awesome. I'd like to suggest a Little Fighter Alpha Series page. There isn't a page yet for our series, and it would be awesome if you could make one. So we can upload all 7 chapters, and maybe more to come.
Great! I've been frustrated (although probably not as frustrated as the artists) by the fact that the collection pages are hardly ever updated, while knowing there are tons of quality flash worth featuring. I'll try to use this new option as much as possible.
Speaking of which...
The Control Panel for "Gadgets" collection!
The Little Fighter Alpha series is not just the only Little Fighter movies out there. Although it's the most popular, and most known out of all of them. I have made a page of other Little Fighter movies made on Newgrounds. If you would consider a Little Fighter page, since just making a Little Fighter Alpha page may be too selfish.
Little Fighter Alpha
Other Little Fighter movies
There should be a "Tutorial" collection for newbies to Flash (I know there is a page that lists some Flash tutorials somewhere, but it would be nice to have a "Tutorial" collection).
This is big news indeed. This will also bring a lot of movies into a collection that have been needing to be in there.

If a checkbox is disabled, it means that the submission you're trying to suggest for a collection is already in the collection you're trying to suggest it for. I'll make all of this much clearer tomorrow.

Hrm. I'll tackle that one tomorrow, too. :)

Does it also mean it's in the process of being in a collection?
I suggested this for the Transformers collection. It's not there though.

Don't confuse what you see in the current collections with what WILL be (or might be) in the revised collections - since those haven't even been built yet. From Tomster: "However, we haven't launched these new pages yet - that is coming soon".

This clears a lot up, thanks. Also can you make it so if you already suggested something, you can suggest it for another collection. Example, I was putting SWGR:SE in Star Wars and then after submitting, I thought it'd be perfect for Music Videos. So I tried again but it wouldn't work. So do you think this should be fixed.
At 6/9/05 01:24 PM, FrOzEn_FoX wrote: Great job, except... you sort of broke EVERY link to the collections on the submit page. XD
You forgot to put an S at the end of collection! It's http://www.newgrounds.com/collections, not collection. :P
I discovered that myself an hour or two ago when wondering why none of the collection page links were working from the submit-to-a-collection page... and then I went into the actual genres/series area of NG and clicked on some collections and the links there worked fine... glanced at the URLs.... the filenames were the same... BOOM... collections vs. collection... lept out at me. As I'm sure it did to you. #;-}>
I was hoping someone had already brought it to Tom/liljim's attention... and so they... er... you! had indeed already done so. Thanks for beating me to the punch and spreading teh bug report word, yo.

Hee hee. Tomster. #;-}>
Anyway, great work to you and Tom and Stamper and whoever else had a hand in all of this. I look forward to the future-buildings of teh revised collections. Just don't delete the BEEBO collection and I will remain happy. #;-}>
