vote on everyones songs

You may think it has no effect, or that artist doesnt need the vote, but chances are 2 seconds after you think that a dude will vote zero without listening to the song lol.

so jus vote on every song you come across, and if you like it, jus vote 5.

in the AP 4's and 3's are pointless, if you like it at all you should vote 5 to make up for people voting zero for no reason.

I think that could be a bad idea. As soon as a song is on 5/5, people shit on it automatically. How about waiting till the Zero Voters hit your stuff, and getting people to bring it back up after it has happened?

Actually, swallow my own words. I always give a song 5/5 anyway, even if I don't think it is great. I think of it as doing a favour for the artist so that his song gets noticed.

Well yeah that's what I do I alwway's vote 5 unless there song just came in the audio portal so I give them a 4 so not all the noobs and people with no lives vote 0.

But I should start voting more even DL the song because it makes the artist feel special.

Actually - a while back me and housemasta went thru all the back archives of the vg genre and voted every single song a 5 - all the zeros - so like the whole first page was 5s - man the downraters hada field day with those!

The moral of the story - no song should have to have a zero rating - but rating it 5 yourself will only attract them - you gotta wait till someone else does first THEN rate your own stuff - I hate seeing my song as a 5 because I know its only a matter of time until the chopping block comes along..

Also I voted on like 20 songs today so well im going to do it from now on.
theres so many artist that have no reviews or DL.

It seems that the only people who vote at all are people with submissions of thier own.
Well... maybe not votes but reviews at least...

I don't think I've had any reviews by anyone who doesn't also have a bunch of audio submissions. What irks me more than anything though are the people who cry - "nobody votes or leaves me reviews" but they rarely, if ever, return the favor to the people who do...

I don't really worry about the scores that much - and I almost always respond to reviews as well as vote and review thier stuff also... I guess that's pretty much all we can do...

well I did at one time or another - come on - a 4.95 - in the vg genre? In THIS day and age??

now thats just pushing it - highest these days i can get in that genre is like 4.67 - which isnt bad but i never lasts..

And I've sure done my part over time on rating people's songs - I sghopuld have likea voting power of 500 by now if it applied to the audio portal!

The songs down there arn't so bad it just they got hit by one zero voter and then the artist didn't really care to bring it back up so he left it. The worse songs IN GENERAL are the ones in the 1.30 to 2.15 because you no they got a few votes in.

Did you guy's ever had a song you voted on and it didnt change one bit. I only had a few mostly paragonx9, House masta, and goldencat.
