Just got home from a 8 hours long New Year's Party. The awesomest thing that happened was when this 11 year old guy, who was constantly fucking around with rockets and firework, it's a wonder he didn't burn up. But well, half an hour into 2008, he comes in, crying with his mother carefully guiding him to the nearest water source, I think "ooh, so the guy DID get burned after all. Serves him just about right", but no! I ask dad "what'd he do?", to which he replies that he had fell and hurt his leg. I just couldn't stop laughing until I noticed I was laughing right in his face. I went to a casino, and security was real bad. You have to be 18 to be on the casino floor, so they're checking people for ID, they check me, I hand over my drivers license, which says I was born 1990, and they're just letting me walk around the casino, I probably could have gambled/bought alcohol, but gambling is just stupid and I was the designated driver, but it was just like, "wtf, a person born in 1990 CAN'T be 18"

I'm not really a Dr. Who fan, but I like the theme music, the concept of time travel, and I do like the title "Time Lord" used to describe me, but Dr Who started a little before my time, so I just need to travel back to the height of its popularity, and I'll be alright =P

I think I prefer the satirical version of Dr Who, as portrayed in the Barry Trotter series: Dr Whom, to grammatically correct time lord. (I've been bitching with my brother about the middle traffic light being "amber" instead of "yellow", amongst other small discrepancies, not exactly grammatical errors, but errors, nonetheless)

Oh, furthermore, I just remembered that on the 26th of December I got the results from my Tertiary entrance exams, and it turns out, I did better than 84.25% of the state, which is over 14% more than required to get into the teaching course I want at uni.
