Seriously - there are over 150 submissions that need to be judged - not everyone will judge every submission... But without enough judges, even breaking it down into small(er) chunks still results in a substantial pile...

As it is now, In order to get a fair assessment, each of the existing judges will need to make an initial pass on about 60 tracks...

If I can get another 5 or 6 people to judge, then I can cut that number down to about 40.

Of course, nobody HAS to help... but keep in mind that those of us who organize these things keep track of who the slackers are... Certain people contribute more than others. Too bad that most people only contibute to the spam count.

Is it possible to judge even though I have one submission? Since we don't have to judge all you could simply have me not judge my own... or something...

That's looking like an acceptable plan. For the initial round, I won't have a problem with people who are competing also being judges for other submissions.

Of course, nobody would get to nominate or judge their own submissions - either way, as long as we can get through the first round or two (to weed out the music that sucks) then it'll all go smooth... ;)
