I´ve been meaning to say a little something about the spam and statposts in the lounge latley...
It´s been too much >:(

The lounge is alot more relaxed than the rest of the forum, hell I´d say that of the public all access forums it´s THE most relaxed place where you can get away with alot of shit.
I personally think it´s OK, a stat thread here and a funny all caps post (with a good/fun point) aint kiling anyone.

Just be reminded that BBS rules do apply in here, as any other part of the forums. You DO risk getting banned for stat- all caps- and other rulebreaking posts in here.

I definitley think we should continue to forgey this place, IN A GOOD WAY, but if you are about to post something doubtful, think again.

Whatever you guys do, try not to get involved in zero-voting sprees like that. Avoid posting at all, since posting keeps the thread alive and will make it more "fun" for the asshats. You´ll also risk being zero-bombed yourself if you stand in the line of fire, remember that.

PM a moderator that´s online and link them to the thread and let them deal with the situation as it suits.

I really hope there will be tools/features with the redesign that prevents these things.

It´s not about making users villains for wanting to go platina and such. The bug is there, and people are abusing that fact. Keeping check of "what user did that and that" knowledge for the public will lead to e-drama and other negative stuff. I´m quite certain this is one of the bugs that have been fixed with the redesign (alltough my guess is as good as yours, i base that on what tom have said in the news posts:).
