problem with pm´ing mods is that not many actually know what threads are spam and what´s not, since very few of them frequents this forum. I´d be bold enough to state that at this now, only evark knows what is spam and what´s not, but not even he is around enough to know what threads are to be concidered spam and what´s not. Denvish used to know, but he aint around anymore, more or less. Not here that much anyways.

There are like 30-50 real "regulars" in the af, rather 30 than 50, but i really hope that one who KNOW what´s going on here gets modded and then can shoulder this forum. Perhaps we´ll get our own audio mod when the rumoured audio update happens...

i mean come on, fucking nothing have been done for this place since the AF started, that´s around 1.5 years ago, and before that it was hell of a long time since things happned too.

well ok frontpage spots....

but still, you all get the picture... this place IS forsaken, and if any moderator would come by and say "don´t just whine, do something yourself" then seriously bugger off, this place IS forsaken as it looks now. And i have done my part.

Personally i wont be around much anymore, not because "I´m oh so tired of this place nothing happens here AP sux", well of course I am tired of this shit, but i´ve been that more or less all the time... not much DO happen around here...
BUT i simply don´t have time for this that much anymore, ive other IRL things to attend to (like school...), and as you´ve probably guessed there won´t be a MAC for september.

I do have ideas for future contests, but ´we´ll see what´s going down. If i get a burst of inspiration, october is what´ll be going down. I really don´t have much will doing a contest anytime soon, it´s hard work and steals alot of time. Fun, but yeah... time...

What I really think is fucking worthless is that moderators can´t even seem to press the "audio forum" by mistake, i mean come on, i´ve ended up in the art forum a couple of times by mistake... Seriously though, I would say that this is something that Wade should deal with, something he should have dealt with a LOOONG time ago. When they start a forum, they should fucking make sure it´s served properly, and not let it out in the rain to rust away like this forsaken hole.

All the people in here are great though. Do you all know how fucking patient you all are? All regulars deserve a big fat pat on the back for staying here and turning this place into what we today have. Too fucking bad no regular have the power to make it look nice and clean.

I suggest you all PM wade about this matter, that there is indeed need for a REGULAR in the AF to be modded. I just sent him a PM. We´ll see if it gets through...

If wade sees this he might be pissed off for me saying this (that´s the way i would expect him to act, based on how he´s acted in public when i´ve seen him...) but there IS need for an audio regular to be modded, and well, since he´s not around, thats about the best way to let him know that, dont you think?

Ah Rucklo calm yourself you are not the only one who is tired.

Drink some tea and relax, I used to be helpful (or so I think) but then I stopped because well to many questions to answer that I did not no enough about so I got overwhelmed.

But your post does have a point and I dunno where I'm going with this but hey. For Wade the guy is a pro I remember him saying that he doesn't come here because we all whine all the time. I can't disagree with him because its true but I also think he just pops in at the wrong times never seeing us when were normal like when the TankMan contest was happening.

My theory is that if every single regular stops fooling around (most people call it spam) and they all share there knowledge with everyone else and help each-other out again without fooling around if they say its a joke.

We may see changes faster.

i was thinking about this myself about a specific audio mod, i was gonna pm tom about it and my suggestion was gonna be chron'. basically he's been around before we had the forum, is one of the most frequent regs here, knows the in's and out's of the forum, can have a laugh amongst us and knows what is and isn't spam etc. i think he'll be very fair with all of us regardless of any personal feelings to a member. so chron you have my vote.

Hi guys,

Unlike every third noob here I'm not going to make a topic for this...

I'm still around for the most part and I will definitely be working with Rucklo on any future MAC's but I just can't seem to get into the AP lately.

I'm sure that somewhere down the road I'll become more active again but for now I'll just be lurking around.

I'm still checking PM's on a fairly regular basis so if any of you need anything from me you can either do that or send me an email.

I'm not "leaving NG" or anything like that - I just can't put in very much time or effort right now - I'm sure that will change in a few months though.
