Because thats how the grading works? If I were to give you %'s (which I can't) they would seem rediciously low - like 30-60% in most cases for a B because of the scoring method.

A*-C are passing marks
then it goes all the way down from E to G, U for unfinished and Q for qualification pending (normally means you were caught cheating)

If you got ten awesome producers in one place, collectively experts in all electronic music genres and had 20 top class mixers and sound engineers hard at work with them, do you think they would be creating the finest electronic music ever heard? Or would the style be diluted and made worse because they're combining their vision, so that their music is no longer individual.

Any ideas? Comon...you have a philosophy thread so you'd better have some judgement about this!

Is it just me or has Newgrounds become a much quieter place in recent times? It used to be a lot more active. Just a few tracks have been uploaded in the space of several hours. Usually I'd see a whole page of new tracks scroll by in that same time. The zero voters have been a little more dormant too, because a few of my tracks are actually breaking into the 4's. Woah, who would have thought.

Not sure - In terms of activity it seems about as it always has... Some weeks a little more - some a little less but overall it's about the same. I'm not so sure where all of the new peeps popped up from - it seems like they all just appeared suddenly.

I think that may be a few too many cooks in the kitchen to work on a singular project BUT if they were all just sort of at each others disposal to work in a more generic freeform way then I think the possibilities for something fantastic to occur increase exponentially by the number of participants... Of course, that's assuming that they can all focus solely on the creation of music - factor the daily grind into the mix; school, work, etc. - and the productiviy potential drops back down again...

I reckon you're right, but lets say there's no distractions, no school, nothing. This group of wizards is devoted to their craft 100% and they just relentlessly churn out track after track. I would like to see that one day!

You reckon the AP has the same level of activity? I admit it's been pretty constant in recent months, but I reckon around April was definitely busier, just on the basis of downloads and reviews. I dont know, there's a bunch of factors involved I guess.
