It makes me want to yell rude things at old people and that is NOT a good state to be in while collecting groceries.

Ahhh James Blunt. That would explain a lot. This song is even more annoying than "You're beautiful". Jesus, I hate it when people a) compose 30 songs using the 5 chords they know on guitar, b) confuse explicitly whiney lyrics with poetry, and c) sing like every note slaps them in the face. Yet they get a record deal and bring tears to the eyes of countless stupid teenagers who really can't help not knowing better.
