Just giving you a heads up, if you just throw together garageband loops and call it a song, you won't be allowed to submit it. If you write out your music note for note, well, that's a whole different story. :D

I hate to admit it, but that's pretty much all my first song was. Well it was 11 different loops and a decent amount of variation and structure, and I made the bass loops myself. (it passed judgement though lol) I really hate it and am ashamed by it but I can't delete it because it's used in a hentai flash (of course) Then again I kind of want to keep it up to laugh at how pathetic I used to be. Lol nostalgia. But there's nothing that breaks the rules about using loops! GarageBand loops are allowed!!!

Anyway, I haven't used a single loop in over 5 months and never, ever plan to again. My music now is 100% me, although occasionally, I'll still use presets here and there. >> I do use samples too, (for my drums) though either purchased or available for download by the author (via creative commons) And everyone uses samples. And I've never pirated anything I've used to make my music. I have a respect for licensing, and would never try to step around the rules.

Also, just double checking, remixes with vocals from the original songs are allowed right? (if they're released by the artist of course) I see a lot of them on NG.

I'd just like to get some of this cleared up.

That alone right there claims you can't upload them as loops or a variation of them. Since users can use songs for commercial means now this rule especially stings on GB loops.

YES! It was extremely intense! It was mostly electro/house, but there was some DnB and trance mixed in. But yeah, the glowsticks were awesome. I bought 40 glowstick bracelets, and had 2 larger sticks. I definitely had one of the best times of my life there.

Damn, just now have I sobered up after Halloween... We've gone to an awesome party with a DJ whose playlists are just f***in brilliant. His usual repertoire (as he has his own program in clubs) goes something in the manner of: 80's hits, olskool hiphop, brutal death metal, modern pop songs, then some Prodigy, and each and every time he seems to fit "Killing In the Name" into the list. Pure awesomeness.
