Does anyone remember the switch from that really shitty Coke that didn't go over well back to Classic Coke? When they switched back to classic, sales jumped through the roof. Rumors spread they released the shitty version on purpose because they knew people wouldn't like it, then they'd switch back to the standard everyone loved and reap the rewards.

Why so negative? If the man actually has personal reasons to stop making music, then that's perfectly legit. Hell, no-one but him can know for sure what he's going through, but that doesn't mean we should accuse him of leaving out of purely self-promotional reasons.

Back from holidays, loaded up on CDs and books and fast food.
I bought some decent computer speakers too.
I'm so glad I found Richard Strauss' Orchestral works; Don Juan, Till Eulenspiegel (studied in music class last year, awesome 16 1/2 min orchestral piece) and Also Sprach Zarathustra (intro is the theme to 2001: A Space Odyssey).
I spent all day today in a car travelling through nothing, staring at the grey sky as it rained all day, only to come home and check my work roster. Tomorrow I start work at 6:30 in the morning. And many mornings after.
Great holiday, now work will slaughter me, but my life is still good, and now my brother's Guitar Hero 3 records show that I have the highest score on Through The Fire and Flames on Medium, and Knights of Cydonia on Hard. It's a small victory considering that I tried a vs mode online, and got totally owned by someone I've never met, rendering my skills on the game "Average".

Don't feel too bad bud, I've played guitar for 4 years and my 13 year old cousin can school me at Guitar Hero.

This I've learned.. then again.. sometimes guitarists can be phenomenally good at it. One of my friends has been playing for like 8 years or so and couldn't play Guitar Hero to save his life.. another friend though, is a great metal guitarist (dunno how long he's been playing) and.. pwns at Guitar Hero.

Ha ha.. I was just online playing Guitar hero 3 and the guy that i was playing with online.. chose through the fire and flames.. and i was like WTF?!? lol. But it didn't do so bad or so great.. I got 67% on expert :P

If I had doen TTF&F on expert in quickplay.. i would've failed misserably in the beginning :P

Are you saying that Mama Mia came out in Australia BEFORE America? It's been out for a little while now, and I think Dark Knight comes out today. Looking forward to seeing the latter.
