FruityLoops 5 2005-06-07 10:42:39 Reply

Well I am thinking of upgrading from FruityLoops 4 to 5. but I am wondering is it worth it to get the 5 like I know some of the new it has like time streching and stuff like that but whenever people try to sell you something they alway's make it sound good. So is it worth getting or is 4 still good.

And what are some of the new plugins and samples like?

Ok,

Fruity Loops 5 is way more powerful with vocals than FL 4, but if your looking to just make songs then FL 4 would be your choice. But most of my songs if you check them out, are made with FL5. Those two remixes with vocals are done with it too but the player on here makes them soo slow, so to get the full potential out of them, Download it lol.

i see but yeah I really don't want vocals but the question is how good is the time sterching thing like is it good because thats the main reason I want it....

is the userface the same or complete different or just a bit of change??

well you shouldhave started with fruity 5 since its been out since when you got 4 (judging by ur music)

the only change anyone i know cared about was the fact that it doesnt (as a default) center ur lil blocks on the piano roll and playlist automatically (which is a VERY GOOD THING, cuz that really held you back in the earlier versions)

plus the sytrus is a very powerful VST that comes with it, and it comes with 2 other VST's that are good (and not included in 4)

why dont you just download the demo and find for yourself?

I hate demo's they never give anything good.

or there's always a time limit.

And know when i got 4 there was no 5 but you ahve to remember I got fruityloops lsot interest and didnt touch it for like 7 months and now Im back again...... So that explains my noobish music..

personally i use 4.5.1 - and I LIKE the fact that it centers notes - thats what I hate about reason.

So I wont be upgrading.

for one, having it automatically place everything limits the music GREATLY.

and for another, fruityloops 5 does it too, all u have to do is turn it on.....

well i never have to worry about feeling stupid at newgrounds!
