i tried to make my guy in an animation do a backflip and all his body parts moved into a ball then opened back up.....my caracter has a madness body....so any help on where to set the rotation points.....or if theres any way to set multiple ones.....thanks

Rotation points?What are you talking about,just press Control T and rotate him!

Rotation is a tricky point with models. You'll have to use multiple keyframes to bring it through the steps of the flip.

well the backflip part wouldn't be that hard, you just use tweens on seperate layers. http://img300.echo.cx/my.php?image=modelasddsa1vo.swf- made this quick , by having the parts in different layers and tweening them. Now if you wanna make it a ball just make a keyframe then add the stuff together, make a shape tween and make it a ball

To set the rotation point, click the 'free transform' tool and drag the little dot

it depends what ure doin if u plan on havin Pause and Play BUttons DO NOT use movie clips I'd say Use Movie clips tho cause they way easier + Makes less lag 8)

I think what this guy means is he's trying to get his character to do a backflip, but it keeps doing this:

You have to make a few extra inbetween keyframes between the bottom and top positions to ease it into the flip. Like so:

(it's a little iffy cos Flash 5 is teh sucks compared to MX)
