I was surfin the web for some cool production gear and I came across thiz bad boy.
The MPC1000 looks like a real legit peace of hardware, and after some research I found alot of producers use it.
Eminem
Sha Money(He makes beats for G-Unit)
Dr.Dre
Kanye West
Mobb Deep
Alkemist
The Neptunes(Pharrell's group)
Judgin by its background I think this shit iz hot!
But $1000? Sounds expensive for such a small sized peace of hardware. But if it does live up to it's hype,Then thatz some money I'm willin to spend!
So whut do you guys Think?

I use an SP-808ex, which has now been discontiued, but if u can find one out there on e-bay or something, it'll probably come quite cheap and do all the things the Mpc1000 can do. I love mine and would never think of selling it. I make all my music using this as a sampler a digital 4trk and fx unit.

There's a new RolandSampling workstation out now called the Roland SP-606 which seems to have all the feautures that the Mpc1000 and SP-808ex has. Here's a link...

I don't know much about the Mpc1000, so here's a link to a review I found about it...

Hope this helps
