how do i save flashs to my computer

well i wont to save flashs to my computter? So i can watch them faster them have to find them then watch it. And show my friends them so i dont have to waste time looking them up. So piz help me!

I don't think you can Dowload them...but i heard they are stored temporarily on your computer.

Also why not just BookMark you favourite ones?
and i don't think you can actually Save them...unless its like Madness Interactive..you can download that.

ya madnesss is a awesome game but soldat is batter go to www.download.com then put in soldat then download it you will tank me dont say you waont cuz you will and i dont know if you can but i hope you can and no you can not save them for like a week b cuz you com will rid them.

If you have Flash installed on your computer, you can find the file in your browsers temporary files and change the file extension to .swf and watch them that way. Otherwise you have to do the same thing, but create an .html document with the location of the .swf on you computer embedded into it and watch them that way...

Viewing Cache:

It depends on your browser.

Internet Explorer: Win2000/XP:

C:\documents and settings\*your username*\local settings\temporary internet files\

Internet Explorer: Win9x:

C:\Windows\local settings\temporary internet files\

Other browsers don't have a direct interface to their cache. Try retrieving the page manually by selecting the "Working Offline" option (or its equivalent) and directly visiting the SWF file via the history.

As for saving them while online?

View the HTML source of the page, and look for an <embed> tag. The "src" attribute will give you the direct link to the page.

So,

<embed src="http://www.yourpage.com/cool.swf"> is the Flash. Paste that into your address bar, then selected "File" -> "Save As."

That's it!

Well I'm not sure about with IE or anything other than Firefox. But if you are using FF do a search for cache. When you find the proper cache (should be in a Mozilla directory in the Application Data or whatever) there should be a bunch of gibberish files without extentions, look for the one with an appropriate filesize (it's usually a little bit off from what they are listed on the Newgrounds page) copy it to the directory you want and rename it with the extension .swf.

There is probably a much easier way of doing this, and I know I suck at explinations. Sorry about that, but I hope this helps anyway.

Haha! Very true. :P

However, if you have everything sorted by Date you can find the files you want relatively easily, as long as you get on it right away... :)

You can find those links many different ways, or just use MYIE2 with it's flash save plugin.
