well, my man. the faster the fbs, the smoother it is. like 1 frame per second is like... bum!--------Bum!-------bum!... and its all choppy and ugly.... the fatser the fbs, the more animation u can put to it in a faster time. so u can animate more to it and make it really smooth. understand?

Well, to a certain extent, more is better. However I don't think there are any serious animation submissions in excess of 30 fps, as the human eye cannot process images that fast & it gets to be a drag on many processors. I'd say most of the nice, smooth animations on the site use between 20 and 30 fps, and the general thinking is to use 24, which is the same as film or 30; the same as video.
