im getting into animatation now and ive tried flash mx 2004 but i really dont like animating in it, graphics tablet or no graphics tablet, and i was just wondering about getting in to traditional animation, with pencil and paper. I was wondering if any of you know the tools needed for animating in this way. I dont wanna rush out and buy a lightbox and a stop motion camera and find out ive got the wrong type or dont need them, so can any of you tell me what i need? Thanks

Well for a camera, it'd probably be best to use a digital camera, and take a picture of each page, and then put it on flash or something, and then let it run like that. And then if u decide you really like to do traditional animation, THAT'S when you'd buy a stop-motion camera etc.
But for the lightbox, they're pretty usefull in other ways also, so I'd suggest getting one if you need it.
