So is this how it works? Movies are flagged and then 3ish times a year we do a mass purge? I always thought it was a more continuous thing actually. Whistling is confusing to me, though I must be doing something right as I moved from a normal whistle to a bronze.
I made my first big mistake today. Wasn't paying attention. The guy that made "If..." made a sequel "Enough...". I took one look at that and immediately recalled "If..." I looked for it on the front page archives, which I just noticed being up today, weird. I found it, played both. It looked so similar with the beating hearts and the introduction, that I whistled it and only after did I realize my mistake. I should have paid more attention. He even said it was a sequel on the author's notes but it was the first time I was able to report a stolen flash that I moved to fast I guess. Last time I tried it told me that it was already reported. Is that gonna cost me points later? Damn, I really want to be a help in this and that I messed up really bothers me.
When you get that message do your whistles count? Because if they do you really have to kind of rush if you want to get the points for the catch.
Also is one blow not enough? and if it passes do you get negative whistle points? Sometimes I want to whistle but am afraid that it will pass anyway and will affect me negatively. Like the Smallville parodies. He's just flooding the portal with basically the same animation over and over again with the purpose to get more "turd of the week" awards. I think he's got a team to give it fives because I really don't get how it can get past judgment otherwise. The reviews are universally bad.
I just read that some of his stuff was erased so is it okay if I whistle any more sequels that he posts then? Would my whistle alone be enough? I seriously need more info on this. It's one of the least defined areas. Any questions that can be answered would be appreciated.
