any audio musicians artists too?

I wanna know if any of the regulars are artists too - if so - upload a pic and lets view your skill!

it could be ads youve made, logos, flash art(tattoos) or macromedia flash art, or pencil, etc...

no movies tho just images :P

(this has to do with audio artists - i want this thread HERE, not in the other forums so please dont lock it!)

Used to be into creating XP Boot screens a while ago... some are customised Google images, others created from scratch. All limited to 16-colour palette.

Stuff on Retrogade1 2 3 4 (most Retrogade page images are not loading currently, due to bandwidth issues, but you can still view the pictures)

Well, it kind of isn't audio, but I believe we need maybe a few non-audio topics in here to help strengthen the community... since it's still relatively small, and constantly talking about audio and the AP can get a bit ...erm... boring after a while...

Indeed. And this is still indirectly geared towards audio - as I asked if there were any AUDIO musicians who are also artists.

Also people also need a place to be retarded or different - I think a retarded thread is needed - otherwise it bleeds into relevant posts...

I couldnt agree more. I think i'm going to start SpamWarriors Spam Collection thread. It'll be a place for jokes and pissing about, doing not much. Eg, funny links, comments, quotes, from anywhere. Would there be a problem with this?

It's hard to say. The Flash forum had the Regular's Lounge closed down basically because it became a spamfest. Don't start anything like that yet, I'll have a word with James and check if he'd be OK with an Audio Forum Lounge, where we can hang out and chat about non-audio things. I can't see him having a mjor problem with it, but I think it would be wise to check with the admin and lay down some ground rules if we are going to have a thread like that.

Indeed - i mean, you can be stupid - but the limits of HOW stupid and immature you can be should be monitered. It's like woodstock - if you do it right its a great experience - if not there are riots and things get set on fire... *shakes head*

I dont draw by hand but i do make some pretty sweet cover art for my cd's considering that i dont have **THE** art skills.

What i do is simply editing pictures. Not the stealy kind of way where you just take a pic, turn it blue, and put on your cover, but really edited so its faaaaar from the original.

yes, I am. I love to draw as well as write tunes. Any form of escapism is good:D
I would give some examples but I no longer draw in a good way, eg...technical way, my stuff is just crappy sketchbook stuff, I dont like to spend ages drawing a specific thing anymore. I'd prefer to look at a picture by someone who cant draw, rather than a complex, well crafted image by a so called, proper artist.

I never really considered myself a great artists. I can't draw a specific thing. Only when I'm not trying to draw anything specific can I draw anything good.

I started doing drawings using only one line to fill the entire paper and connect it at the ends. It would make two sides. I would color each side a different color which would make it really nice. Since I never really intentionally drew anything it wasn't any specific thing...But you can kind of see resemblances of things here and there, like you do with coulds. These links are kind of a branch of that stuff.. It's not all one line but it's resembles the same style.

The first one is an abstractamajic that I made over the course of a year in Art 1 class.
The second is photography I used as album art on my new cd.
The third is JTHM stuff (also in Art 1... neither were actual assignments...).
The fourth, more JTHM
The last one wasn't supposed to look like a face... I was just drawing abstract stuff, and then I took a step back, and I was like, "holy shit..." then I stopped drawing. one of the scariest experiences of my life...
