alrighty 3 questions...
1) what is mySQL?
2) would mySQL alow posting or like instant ad-ons to your site
3) how much is the service
i ask these questions cuz im trying to make a fan fic page to my site were users make a story and it gets automaticly added to the library... if any1 could answer these questions... it would be great... thanx :)

It's a RDMS (relational database management system).

Yes, if you code something that will do it, or find something on the net that already exists and will do what you want.
3) how much is the service
It's free. See the official site for more details. Whether or not you can use it depends on the hosting service you're with.

You can't possibly build a story submission system if you are asking questions like "what is mysql". It isn't something you can learn quickly.
