Well, after three weeks and about 10 reprsentatives with at least 3 asian imports, I found out why my fucking computer froze so much. Well actually I was pretty sure of the reason, and told about 5 of them, only 2 listened, one who actually told me to buy a new one instead of downloading the new version. I'm pretty sure I'll get one from dell (since they're my company and I'll get easier installation with them) So could you reccomend one? DOn't give me the worlds best one that costs like 600 dollars, I need one that won't make my dad shit a brick but won't freeze when I'm playing online games. I have a dimension 4600 with windows XP. If you have a really good deal from another company not with dell, I might take it.

What is your current graphics card or do you have the built in graphics thing that comes with some dells. and exactly how much are you willing to spend on a new one. I think some of the decent 128mb ones are under $200. also what games are you trying to play? the new ones are really graphics heavy

I think that you may just have to get it installed by someone else or do it yourself. dell doesn't have the really good cards, i think they just have like 3 or 4 that they have gotten a deal on distributing or something like that.

Radeon is always a safe bet...
or Nvidia - I'm assuming you are not exactly a computer oriented person, so I'll just be nice. Dell doesn't sell videocards, dumbshit. Dell sells crappy, low quality components for prebuilt computers.

I have a Radeon 9800, but it's getting outdated. Get the Radeon x800pro.

I've got the NVidia 6800 Ultra DDL 256mb, it's as sweet as fresh pussy-juice, but probably out of your price range.

I'd go with the Radeon 9600 or 9700 ranges, they make great budget cards and should perform pretty well even with newer games.
