how do you get the webcams to show up on the page like on the portals?

well i don't have a cam, so i'm guessing this, but here's how it works from what i've seen.
on the page where you want the cam, you stick the picture, but it's actually a picture on another site (where your cam is hosted). every time you want to show a different picture on your cam, you update that picture, thus updating it on every site it's shown on. get it?
