I tried recording using the narraration option with the Windows Movie Maker program, but that records it into some wierd audio file type that isn't compatable with flash. Help me please!
well you could always just find a freeware program online that converts wma to mp3..
i'm sure it's out there somewhere
uhhh... one little problem with that stuff... it's a free trial, not the real thing... unless of course you also know where to get a keygen
have you heard of the wonderful world of google?
do you really need someone else to use it for you?

Audacity lets you save files in .mp3 format and it's totally free. Keep in mind you will need to download the LAME_enc.dll codec in order to save as an mp3. But...saving as wav would still work although the file size is large.

Record it with Audacity. You can export it as a WAV or MPp3, but you need the lame3.97something file if you want to export as MP3.
You can use the sound recorder that comes automatically with almost every computer... just open start, go to programs, then accessories, then entertainment, and there it is.. it's actually called Sound Recorder and you can record up to 60 seconds that can be put into flash there is a trick to make it so u can record more than 60 seconds but with flash it doesn't matter you can just record one ting at a time and palce it where you want.

No no no no no no NO. Sound Recorder is bad. Sound Recorder is evil. Even worse yet: Sound Recorder is DEFAULT. Anybody can do better than Sound Recorder. Really. Audigy is free and lets you record at higher sampling rates, saves to mp3, and offers you tools on getting rid of that horrifyingly terrible background noise. Sound Recorder = avoid.
