How do you spell it?
I spell it both ways. But I tend to use gray more. And I spelled it grey on a spelling test and got it wrong.

You should've slapped your teacher with a dictionary than.
Anyway, I never really thought about it, but I guess I probably use gray more often than grey.

I use both. Once I use both spellings in one of my essays and my teacher told me to stick to one.

Long time ago. I just remember that for some reason. And I think it was on that test that you take in every grade in elementary school.

its bad enough we use the short spellings. we then butcher it even further without even PRONOUNCING the whole word. ya know?

It's both.

Grey or gray is a color seen commonly in nature. It is created by mixing white and black in different proportions. Depending on the amount of light, the human eye can interpret the same object as either grey or some other color.

Both ways are technically correct, but I think it was originally grey. Either way, I think Grey looks better so I use it more often.
I suck.

You should put "#150517". That way you're always right.

They're both proper, however...
Gray tends to be used more for the color itself, like a gray crayon, or "shades of gray". Grey tends to be used for animals (and some objects), like a grey wolf.

I spell it depending how I feel.. though I tend to like Grey more. It looks better to me.

Oh, lets not forget that back in elementary school, I spelt "fourth" instead of "forth" and it was marked wrong, even though the pronouncation is exactly the same. They were bitchy when it came to context. If "gray" was on the spelling list, dammit you spelt GRAY not GREY.

Both ways are correct.... It depends on what part of the world you live in. Australian's spell it differently than Americans.
:/ Dunno why really.
