Sorry for double post, but the Oblivion game with no xpansions has 80 hours of straight play through gametime, I think shivering Isles adds on 10 and KOTN adds 5, all the XBL downloads are like 10-30 minutes.

Well, that seems somewhere around right. Some of the downloads are longer. The Orrery is meant to be one of the longer ones, due to the fact it can glitch up. Mehrune's Razor is meant to be fairly long as well. Damn, this is making me want to play Oblivion now..

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Summoner - Raidou Kuzunoha vs the Soulless Army
Elder Scrolls 2 : Daggerfall (PC - 1996)

Just to name a few. or any MMORPG would be longer.

I have about 50 + racked up but about three profiles along side my main which have around 3, 5 and 6 hours racked up. This Dragon Age sounds epic, I'll have to google it since this the first time I've heard of it. Thanks for the conversation folks.

I was reading that after the Walmart $100 gift card deal Xbox 360 sales rose 400%. To top that off Modern Warfare 2 sales are expected to do around 6 million across PC/360/PS3 in week one, with the vast majority of sales on the Xbox 360. To top that off, Left 4 Dead 2 and the new dashboard update come next week.

LIVE is going to crash.

I rented MW2 out yesterday. It's a great game, I will admit. It's not as good as people had hyped it up to be IMO though. Multiplayer doesn't seem as fun as Modern Warfare's. It just lacks that 'something', though I haven't played much of it. The story is short as well - completed it on Recruit in 5 hours, and I'm going over the game on Veteran at the moment.

There are no vehicles online. Well, there are, but you can't drive them - same as Call of Duty 4. There aren't as many perks now, as the unused ones have been removed. I can't remember all the perks that are in the game though. I recommend you Google search that one.

Perks level up as you use them, until you unlock a 'Pro' version of that perk. For Stopping Power, you might need to, say, kill 50 people using Stopping Power. You then unlock Stopping Power Pro. Pro versions of a perk have another advantage. For example, Stopping Power might give you extra damage against helicopters or something.

I'm channeling god and he says you're shit out of luck. He was going to answer your prayer, but the lines got crossed and your copy of MW2 got sent to a starving Ethiopian. Umbente says it was hard to swallow and cut his throat on the way down, but he's very grateful for any form of sustenance. On the bright side you are getting his loaf of bread, enjoy it.

The loaf of bread killed itself after reading his posts and trying to understand them through the spelling errors and 1st grade grammar mistakes. Sorry 'bout that!

I'm calling it now, 2010 will probably be on of the biggest, if not the biggest years in gaming history. I think there is at least 1 big exclusive for the Xbox 360 for just about every month and then of course there are all the great 3rd party games.

January - Mass Effect 2
February - Splinter Cell: Conviction, Bioshock 2
March - Final Fantasy 13
etc.
etc.

And then the as the months go on, the games fill in. Somewhere in the year you have to scriblle in Fable III, Crackdown 2, and Halo: Reach, Skate 3, CoD, etc.

I don't mean to try and invalidate your point or anything, but there are always several people who say this exact thing every year.

Mmm, every year there is always somebody who says that "this year is the best year for gaming" solely on the fact that a couple games are coming out that they like. If you look at the releases for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and the Wii for 2010 you will see that it certainly trumps 2009 and any year close to it by a long shot.

Gran Turismo 5, Alan Wake, M.A.G., Splinter Cell: Conviction, God of War III, Crackdown 2, Mod Nation Racers, Mass Effect 2, Heavy Rain, Fable III, Final Fantasy 13, Bioshock 2, The Last Guardian, Dead Rising 2, Metal Gear: Rising, etc, etc, etc,

That's just between the 306 and PS3. The Wii and PC have some games they're bringing to the plate as well.

No problem. It's a good game, but if you ask me, it won't be what you're expecting. The campaign is short, though very good. The online isn't bad, but it feels less special now in comparison to MW. This is my opinion on it though - you could find yourself thinking the online is perfect.

short campaign?.............. i thought the first one had a short campaign, is it generally short... or short compared to the first one?

And if the online is good, then thats all i need, thats almost all i care about in the game... but its a shame there are no XBL parties, i cant talk to bonejangles while hes playing oblivion, or ilikepie while he shooting zombies in halo3.... that was one of MS's most jackass move ever thought of.. no parties for MWII............

Smartest move ever made.

Anybody know how to do the 2nd wave mission of Special Ops on Vetren? The one on the 3rd little episode of missions 'Charlie'.

Yes. And no. I agree that it was a very good move in Search and Destroy, but Team Deathmatch? No way. I've never seen anyone cheating in that way on TDM. They should have kept it for tactical modes and those with no respawns / delayed respawns. In a mode with no delay, there's no point except to make it more difficult for those playing to chat with friends.

yes, just yesterday the entire enemy team in matchmakingwas a bunch of little 4 year olds, after the match they thought we were "glitching" and "haxxing" and "killing them too much" it got annoying, so i told them they were all adopted.

also went over to my uncles house to help move furniture, i finished and played MWII (he has the PS3 version) over there............... so... many.... upgrades for weapons............ i cant wait to get my own copy on wednesday.
