I might actually get it. I only have GH3, which I loved, and I think it's time for an update. Not sure how often I'm going to be on the Xbox once I start uni, so I might not even getting GH5 in the end, but I do want it.

I said I won't get it, I'm going to try and stick to my work. If I were to get it, I'd trade in some old games.

What I would quite like to see on the Arcade is, Serious Sam, the first, and second encounters. With fully supported Xbox Live Co-op!

And Doom 2...

Majesco Entertainment will bring Serious Sam HD to the Xbox Live Arcade in late summer of 2009, its first encounter I think. It will hopefully but any time this month.

It will cost 1,200 MS Points btw.

I'd recommend Bioshock over Dead Space. Dead Space does have a lot of backtracking through levels you've been through, but it is still mostly linear, and it might have you go back to the first section when you're at the end of the game, but you'll still be following a certain path. The graphics are great tho, I just didn't really like it. You should probably go with Bioshock.

Looks as shit as the original. Going to be the same as the main game, only worse...

Going to save up for some Microsoft points so I can buy me Shadow Complex and hopefully if I can get it done soon Penny Arcade 2. I loved the first and really want the second.

Well, technically you didn't experience much classics yourself, like Sega or classic gameboy games when they were first released.

In 10-20 years time, they will look back and go "Super Mario Galaxy, major classic...". Then you can shove a copy of Turok: Dinosaur Hunter in their faces.

N64 games will one day be considered classic...

I am going to assume that what you said means what I think it means.

I don't feel at all sorry for kids growing up with newer consoles. The only reason I look back on the games of my childhood with such fondness is because of nostalgia, despite the fact that they are in almost every way inferior to modern games.

When kids of today grow up, they're going to look back at today's games with the same fondness, despite the fact that Virtual Holospace raiders IX is almost undoubtedly going to be superior.

The only thing that modern kids are lacking are cute and cuddly animal mascots. Although I was fond of Spyro and Crash, I really grounded myself more in RPG territory when I was a wee-un. Come to think of it, modern kids are seriously lacking in good JRPGs. They will never have the Final Fantasy VII experience that I had when I was a child.

Oh god.

I move him with my thumbs. He needs my guidance, though I am not the only one.

Anyway! On a brighter note, Bioshock is incredible. I am currently trying to go through the whole game, without dieing, on Hard. I have stocked up on ammo, health, and EVA, and I am now whizzing around with the camera!

It's far easier than it sounds. Took me about 2 or 3 days to get it done on hard without dieing, with all audio diaries, tonics and weapon upgrades. I love that game.

Yeh, I found that the hardest thing i've done so far is kill Bubbles the first time around, because I now have all the ammo I need to deal with Bioshocks little frustrations.

Same here, I got up to Fontain Fisheries, then found out I had to turn them off. I was worried I'd have to do it again, but fortunately that wasn't the case.

Yeah, I think I remember reading somewhere that turning it off is just recommended so that you don't accidentally respawn or something and screw up the cheevo.

Also is getting all the diaries and tonics hard? I was gonna go and finish my last few achievements for Bioshock, but that one seems like an ass to get, so I just didn't go for any :\

My goal this weekend is to go into game mediocrity. First I'm going to be playing Jericho which I finally bought at a price that I felt justified the quality of the game (8 dollars) and then a little Star Ocean The Last Hope which I keep hearing is as average of an RPG as you can get.
