lately i have noticed something, a lot of th games that have came out in the last year have been very easy to beat on their hardest difficulty, aint that crazy? I have also taken notice that most of these games cover it up with lots of big guys with muscles or large metal suits, and of course gore too, another cover. i think that the hardest games were the older ones, anyone agree wtih this? old games... were harder than new ones!

It's not that I'm totally disagreeing just I want too see some cold evidence here. Singleplayer, perhaps in some cases, Doom Nightmare vs Left4Dead (before melee fix). Multiplayer, not by a long shot.

well for on metroid (th first one) versus GOW2, metroid was on a smll little console that used a cross pad , no control stick while gears had control sticks to work with, you cant save in metroid ibut in gears you can, well all the new games you can! that was jsut a single comparison too! i would compare the original zlda to somthing but there ar no sword fighters for the 360 if i rmember correctly...... also i dont count soul calibur 4 and its crappiness as a sword fighter.....

I've been a Xbox owner for 3 years now. I'd like to join the club :)

Today I noticed that the "Rep" you have on Xbox Live isn't the greatest system. Like anyone else, I started with 3 stars. But somehow, somebody had made me an avoided player which sent my "Rep" stars up to 5.

I don't think I exactly know how the whole "Rep" system works, I guess you get 5 stars for the first Player Review you get and it either stays the same or goes down depending on the following ones.

I don't think it's possible to get any lower than three stars. At one point, when me and my friends went around trolling people in every match of Halo 3, I was about 80% avoided and I didn't lose a fraction of a star. They should just scrap that shit. Even if it was an accurate representation of how well you play with others it's not as if anyone would ever look through the rep of the group of people they were matched up with and leave the game if too many of them had low rep.

Anyone know of an easy way to possibly fix scratches along the inner ring and the outer part of the disc that doesn't involve buying a new copy or using power tools? (A fair bit of Youtube videos say use some type of power tool and I don't have any)

You could buy one of the disc cleaners and see if they work. That's the only solution I can see. Or rent it from blockbuster and swap the games lol.

Without this little trick, I wouldn't have enjoyed the pleasures of Gears of war 1 multiplayer.
Works 100% if done right.

I am terrible with scratchs and i often lose discs b4 i found this dick cleaner at gamestop, i had GASHES in my discs inner area and this disk repair/ cleaner fixed it up to a point here it works MOST of the time...... it really works dude! i found it at the desk at gamestop and decided to try it...... just beware the scratch doctor, it is where i got that games gash at.... Also that blockbuster thing? nah, not a good idea they charge you for destroyng thir dics, also i have a theory that there are clear tags on the top of all their discs. im smart wen it comes to disk care now.... wow this post soundd like a one of those mighty putty commercals...... lol corniness.

I wouldn't do it from BlockBuster, but there is a Hollywood video nearby that offers a service that for 25 cents extra, any damage to the game is not your fault. If I'm lucky enough to catch them while they have Street Fighter while it's there I might actually do this.

Actually fuck that shit. I just remembered they put a sticker on each disc and I doubt I could get it off the disc without making it obvious that I was swapping discs. Nevermind. I might just check out the toothpaste thing. What do I have to lose?

Actually i did something like that once. Went to Movie Gallery and got Halo 3 and swapped it out with my brothers copy which was fucked beyond belief. But they never noticed and got a fresh copy of Halo in the process.

Yeah my friend has done it multiple times with blockbuster so I don't see the risk. Worse comes to worse just deny the shit out of anything haha.
