I bought my points yesterday(1600) and to me it feels like summer is still a long way away.

GOT ROCK BAND YESTERDAY!

It's great, except one thing, I'm stuck on Green Grass with High tides on expert (guitar).
Its the last song and hammerons are really taking use to on Rock band, any tips?

Also drums, holy shit!

Worth it to be honest, mainly for the drums and 4 player co-op experience, my mates are coming over tonight and we are going to jam with these instruments not to mention our REAL ones.

Yep that's right, got rid of it. It had gotten the red rings and luckily I had been able to make it work again, but now I know that it was going to break down again anyways. So before it crapped out again, I sold it.

oh yeah and then I went to another Gamestop and bought a refurbished one with the credit from selling the first xbox, so...

I now have an Xbox! :D

This is why I really hate living in Britain. Our weather is shit, our healthcare is shit and above all, we have to wait longer for decent games and the have to pay DOUBLE what the Yanks pay to get it. Why does the gaming industry hate Europe so much? Why does SSBB and Rock Band need to wait months upon months to get the same, unchanged version that the Americans get?

So am I the only person here who's excitied about Civ Revolution after playing the demo? I wasn't sure at first if I liked how streamlined everything was, but once I got into the swing of things I really enjoyed the faster pacing. The control system they chose is a little odd, but that's somewhat forgivable in a turn-based game when time is not of the essence.

I'm just going to say;

I don't mind the streamlining, I think that the research tree that shows you directly what is affected by your chosen tech is something they should've introduced way back on the computer, I agree that the controls seem a little off. Sometimes I'm not sure if I've got someone selected, for example.

I did enjoy it though, and although it's not top of my list to buy due to its similarities to Civ IV, if I get a stable job soon I'll definitely buy it.

Personally, I disagree. This is one of the most bare years Xbox has had for gaming, we have got nothing too big coming out this year other than GTA IV and GoW 2, everything else looks run of the mill, with the exception of BF:BC, which is very much growing on me. And don't get me started on Ninja Gaiden 2, that game is just DMC 4 only a tiny bit harder.

Still was a bitch to finish though, and now I'm thinking of doing the next difficulty. Out of curiosity, I looked up a few of the achievements and they're just evil. To get them, you have to do the entire game with only one weapon, as in do the entire game with the dragon sword, or do the entire game with the vigoorian flail. They do that with each weapon and only give 5 points for it. I think I'll actually go play some Metal Gear now to prepare for that.

I really want to check out the Civ Revolution demo, but I've been playing waaaaayyy too much of the BF:BC demo. It owns hard...I'm going to have to buy the game definitely. I own BF2, but my computers are too shitty to play it without horrible jerking, even on the lowest graphics settings. So BF + console = fucking win.

I'm thinking of DL'ing the new Civilization demo.

Is it any good?

So to replace guns they add shurikens, which can spammed as much as the guns from DMC.

I actually played BF2 on my PC(I was like,12?). The console version just doesn't seem as good. It might be just the demo but there needs to be an easier way to find your enemies,and they should close down the maps. I like the whole sandbox idea,don't get me wrong,but without a certain number of people it's just annoying. It's a lot of fun really but it just doesn't charm me the way BF2 did.

I think the openness of the maps is fine, it's just like BF2 in that respect, I'm sure that some of the maps are all Strike At Karkand and Sharqui Peninsula, but they don't all need to be.
