I just arrived in San Diego this afternoon. I'll be out here for the next two weeks with my Behemoth homeboys trying to get some cool console stuff together to premier at Comic-con this July.
Next Wednesday (May 18th) I'll be heading up to LA for E3! I'm speaking on a panel Wednesday afternoon from 1:30 to 3:00. I have some bad news about the Newgrounds office I was going to buy: It isn't happening. There were some hazardous materials that needed to be removed prior to settlement, but they wanted to sell it as-is. The clean-up costs would have been expensive at the least and potentially VERY expensive, so I wasn't interested in inheriting the risk. It's a real bummer after all the emotional energy and excitement I built up over the prospect of working in a real NG office and not my basement.
I'm hopeful that a better building will come along in the future. I'm expanding my search outward to Ambler and Fort Washington, although I don't want to get too far from Glenside (these are all suburbs north of Philly - trying to avoid that wage tax). If you know of any cool buildings for sale in these areas, let me know!
So... Keep an eye out for me at E3 next week and say hi!
