I'm trying to submit the first part in a series of Audios. When I put it in, it says .wav at the end. But after it uploads, all I get is that it's not in .WAV or .mp3 form. What am I doing wrong?

you have to probebly upgrade ur music program, or get another type. Tom Fulp made it so only certain types of audio programs can be used on his site because he has nothing better to do.

Yes, encoders can be faulty, IE; I once encoded an MP3 and it wasn't.
If you try downloading an encoder make sure you have some anti virus stuff.
Don't just take anything you find.

Might I suggest Cool Edit Pro or Acid Pro? There are certain programs out there that don't like to encode to a standard that the system appreciates. At least thats what I'd be led to believe seeing as how this question has been asked many many times.

If you're putting the sound up as a .WAV, the problem is probably either the Sample rate or the bit depth. Default Bit depth is 16 and sample rate is usualy 44100 Hz.
Try checking to see if that's it.
Also, you may want to jsut convert it to an Mp3.
I use a program called "WaveNET mp3." That will clean up any problems with the Bit depth and what not. You can find the program pretty easily. Just goto Google or Downloads.com and search that thing I got up in quotes. ^^
