Hey Tom

I managed to get a hold of the cover of MVC, an insider magazine sent to companies that sell computer games (like the one i work for)

Here are pics of the HUGE spread, inside and out -

I would love to get the GameCube bundle pack for my nephew, but I don't have 50 bones, he's 6 & I worry about appropriateness since Tricky The Clown makes a cameo appearance & I'm not sure if the game is too hard for him. I mean when I played the flash version it was kinda difficult & I got so pissed that I stopped playing after 3 minutes & gave it a zero. I just like the idea of owning a piece of real, tangible Newgrounds history… & what kid doesn't like cute little aliens that eat brains?

Alien Hominid was the featured Postmortem for May. John (Behemoth co-founder) and I wrote an article about the successes and failures of developing AH for the consoles!

hey thats awesome congrats

Is this true? If so, that's really neat!

According to legend, The Behemoth's art director Dan Paladin woke up one morning with a headache. He described it to his girlfriend as feeling like an alien hominid in his brain. He drew a picture to illustrate this, and the indie game's signature character was born.

Tom, What is up with the office. Did you get it? I thought you going to be posting pictures. Great with the European release of Alien Hominid.

Response to Game Developer Magazine 2005-05-04 22:52:33

I was actually able to find the GC version in a Gamestop by me for $20. Its a solid buy, its much easier to play with a controller rather than the key board.

I left newgrounds for a year and when I came back my entire signature is gone?! What the fuck man, that ain't cool.

Tom, what does the picture on the bottom of the vote-alien website that says, "Also on Mobiles" mean? Is the game coming out for a mobile system?

Response to Game Developer Magazine 2005-05-05 00:24:44

This makes me nostalgic of the days for my Alien Hominid game. Maybe I should try and beat it on hard... hmm.

Otherwise, great job Tom... generic congrats, blah, blah, blah.

I'll be at E3. I'm speaking on a panel on Wednesday at 1:30, about gaming innovation and stuff.

The office is still in negotiation - trying to figure out who will deal with the hazardous materials.
