Why don't you replace the poll on the front page (that has been there for ages) with a poll asking users about their preferred choice of logo?

I think Pico is the poster child for newgrounds, but the tank has been there since the beginning. Maybe if you replaced the little man driving the tank with pico in a "gung-ho" pose that would probably be the best

I think the general consensus is to keep the tank and maybe add Pico to the side of it.......with a gun...a BIG gun....BLASTING THE CRAP OUT OF THE CLOCK CREW......yeah yeah yeah, that would be awesome...heeheeeheehee, and dont forget to add subtitles that say BANG BANG BANG BANG!!!!!

TOM!!! look, PICO is great, I've seen each and every one of pico's movies and played every game... but the tank logo has ben the source of inpirations for us newgrounders for a lot of time, I even made a graffiti in my city featuring the tank... that tank rulez... and it must stay there!!!

it thinks its a cool idea, you should have a random image creator of pico with different guns etc, and one of them could still be the tank so you keep the oringinal logo, also you could make them animated if the image size dosent get 2 big

Don't get me wrong, I'm a great fan of Pico and all (can't wait for the new game either), but it just wouldn't be the same. Now, I don't know if the tank logo has been around the entire history of Newgrounds, but it's definitely been something I've seen since my first visit here. It's really got something... I don't know how to explain, but here we got a tank logo representing the Newgrounds community... which you know, is a lot like a tank in many ways that can't be stopped, especially with all this KABOOM! and Segway crap... heh. And with the major driving force of the Flash artists of Newgrounds behind their movies and games that people may find offensive, yet they continue on anyway... it's a means of expression that can't be stopped and will keep on rolling. I love Pico, but I don't think it would truly represent the attitude of Newgrounds. If anything like others have suggested, maybe you could come to a compromise and have Pico behind the wheel of the tank... maybe even update the tank itself (as long as it's still bad-assed and all)

I think PICO should be the official mascot of Newgrounds. I'd miss the familiar look of the
tank greeting me as I load the page, but PICO just seems more right on the money. Also, congrats on the schooling!

I really like the tank...i think what you should do is...make the logo a picture of pico driving the tank........that way you still keep the tank and add pico in the logo ...cause pico deserves to be in the logo.....Keep up the good work ~~~Primetimelee~~~

That's what I thought too, so that's what I made. Pretty spiffy huh? And it only took an hour to Photoshop.
My only problem with it is that I'm not sure if the flame from the gun should be in there. It looks a little weird to me but maybe you guys like it, I dunno.

I think that the randomizer/customize idea was good! But if you just change it to Pico, lots o' people would go bezerk! Personally, as long as your content stays the same, the NG logo could be anything, and I wouldn't care.

I was suppost to go Tom... My sister-in-law does Acclaim's booth... If you get a chance to stop by it and you can find Dorian Rehfield tell her "Weasel" says hello... It gona be a real smash this year they are coming out with some really neat stuff (PS2 fans save about 100$)... Hope you have fun Tom last years was great...

Having Pico on the vote panel and anims is fine, but on the logo too would be too much. If there were more Pico games then it might be OK, but there's a lot more to NG than just Pico, and peeps might just get sick of the sight of him farly fast if he was on every page.

I like the tank, the tank is good, vive la tank.
