Can anyone help me?? point out a tutorial on this maybe??
well, flash cant make blurred pictures. you have to use photoshop or something for that.
but you can make a faded bluury type trail of a character.
lets say you have a person, copy the person. paste him a little bit behind the other one and lower the alpha a bit. now copy that one and place it a bit behind the others and low alpha a bit more. and just do that a few times until it looks like a faded trail.
Well, actually, Flash can make a blurred image...
Select the image you want to blur (not applicable to graphics, buttons or movie clips, only base level images)
Then:
modify > shape > soften fill edges
The menu that pops up is pretty self explanitory.
A Flash blur effect wont look as good as a Photoshop one, but it's in program so you wont have to mess around with working back and forth between Flash and Photoshop.
Hope this helps! :)

and I have another quick question too.. if you make something in photoshop and you paste it in flash, the background of that image is white.. how can you make that transparant?? and with alpha whole the picture goes transparant, I only want the background...
thankx..
Well I don't think you can paste a picture with transparencies from Photoshop to Flash.
What I would suggest is save the image you want from Photoshop as a .png with alpha or a .gif with transparency and import the image to your Flash file.

If you are using Flash MX 2004 you will be able to save from photoshop into flash and keep the transparency. If you are using Flash MX the only way to keep the transparency is to Save for web, choose PNG with transparecy and check the "interlaced" box. This works with Photoshop 7.0.
Formats that also work is Targa.
Good luck!
