I didn't even find out about this until yesterday, but apparently there is some "big contraversy" about this Kaboom! game that appeared here at Newgrounds. The basis of the game was to run around as a far suicide bomber and try to blow up as many people as possible. I'm a big supporter of israel. However i'm a bigger supporter of free speech.

Apparently a bunch of ultra-sensitive types got all up in arms about this game. but I say, who the fuck cares? It's video game violence! It's fun, it's stupid fun! Does it make me change my stance towards israel? No.

It's just a game where you blow people up.

I mean, what if I was to make a game where you can blow up liberals at a "world unity" festival....

Being a suicide bomber would sort of be like a game. A very grim, morbid game I admit, but think about it. You get up one morning, strap on your explosives and go looking for targets. What do you look for? Big groups? Women? Children? Then you find your target and press the button. Of course, you only get to play once.

Was there any complaint when movies like Diplomacy or Taliban Twister came out? It all depends upon your perception. I don't think it should be banned, it is just a game and more violent, politcally themed things are on Newgrounds, (I think).

I don't think being anti censorship is liberal. While there are some old conservatives who support censorship all the conservatives I know care more about our frist ammendment rights (and all our other rights in the bill of rights) then protecting people from getting offended. I hate people who think the goverment has to protect them.

I totally agree. It's just stupid pixilated violence, nothing to have a fiasco over. It doesn't even imply that you are blowing up Jews or anything.

Lol Kaboom IS really fun though. I hope the author makes the final version soon.

It's just a game. I dont see why some people are making such a big deal out of this. A lot of people died because guns as well, and that is still happening. Should we therefor remove everything with guns in it? I dont think so.

NG has always been provokative and its nice to see that its propsperity hasn't tamed this. Kaboom is a light-hearted game that doesn't take itself too seriously, and I think most reasonable supporters of free speech would agree with that. Besides, the guy explicity states that he's not Jewish or Muslim and is merely highlighting the stupidity of the conflict. Plus its fun. :D

About this Kaboom business...hmm...i have to make my first statement blunt...oh, know!!, WHO THE FUCK CARES!!?? First of all, if you're the ultra-sensitive type, Newgrounds probably isn't the place for you. There's a shitload of potentially offensive stuff on this site, it all depends on who sees it. And this game is just another pointless violence game, leave it alone. the only reason anyone cares is because it's about suicide bombers, and the US has gone through a bunch of stuff involving the poor fucks. Get over it, do you think that this game will make all the deranged people who come here want to go and blow the shit out of another one of your buildings? Well it won't. And you know that if the person who made this game made it into like some person blowing up Bin Laden in some way everyone would be all for it. Don't be so damn pathetic, get over it. Just because you you guys have had some misfortune doesn't mean that you can't let the rest of us get on with our lives and joke and have fun. Look at all the crap mocking the titanic, or other stuff like that. All i have left to say is that if you don't like it, don't fucking look at it.

I just read an article about Kaboom in The Telegraph and its kinda funny the way they completely misrepresent it to people who don't know anything about the internet. They even got the URL wrong - newsgrounds.com. Fucking amateurs...

god that was too much fun. i cant wait until the final version comes out and you can really blow people up. i love that game, its fun as hell. ill have to add that to my all time favorites with spank my pussy, and the crazie charlton heston one. newgrounds should be happy as hell, ive been coming to this site since early 2000 and have never hardly seen the site mentioned on the net let alone tv.

lets face it the truth, isreal has support ONLY because of the unmitigating jewish lobby in this country[usa]. everytime you say that your a jew hater and anti semitic, and all that bullshit but its true. what country do we give 3billion a year too? [and with f16s and millitary handouts its like 13 billion a year] NONE all the money we give other countries combined dosent add up too the amount that we give isreal. all these stupid asses are on the tv and radio saying that isreal needs to defend itself, well fuck do it and shut up. you dont need billions of dollars to defend yourselfs. if you want to treat the palestinians like shit and plow there houses down, dont bitch when they blow you up when your buying toilet paper.

The game was one of those addictive types that you can play for a while and set records for yourself. To all those ultra-sensative jewish pricks out there I say go f*ck yourself and if you don't like a game don't play it!!!
