Well, after reading what Nev said, and this, i did some more searching around and found this deal. The only problem is i need an Australian plug converter which that doesn't have. I know at least one of you have a Mac laptop or something of the sort, so now i need a hand with finding the little part that plugs into the wall, i.e, the wall plug, not the little charging unit which you plug into your laptop :3

Thanks guys :D

dunno what the availability is of one of these things, but they cover pretty much all your bases.

if it is real...

Of course it is - Bud's a lager and therefore it's not a beer in the true sense of the word. If any of you ever come across proper beer, you'll be looking at things like Tetley's bitter, Banks's and possibly John Smiths.

Well, the UK has 3 prong plugs, so it's a no-no. I think that continental Europe might be ok, even with the slanted plugs, as I think that places like France have rounded plus connections for two-prong plugs...

You might even be able to charge your iPod in the bathroom - shaver's sockets might work for you in the UK...

Scouser* & a gay man

At the end of a tiny deserted bar in Liverpool sat a scouser. He was having a few beers, when a short, well dressed, and obviously gay man walked in and sat beside him.

After three or four beers, the gay man got the courage to say a few words to the Scouser.

Leaning over towards him, he whispered, "Do you want a blow job?"

At this, the Scouser leaped up with fire in his eyes, and smacked the shit out of the gay man, knocking him swiftly off his stool. He proceeded to beat him all the way out of the bar, before leaving him bruised and battered in the parking lot, and returning to his seat.

Amazed, the bartender quickly brought over another beer to the Scouser, and said, "I've never seen you react like that. What did he say to you?"

"I don't know," the Scouser replied. "Something about a job."

*A Scouser is a person from Liverpool. If you're confused by this concept, substitute for Hick.

In other news today, following the death of Boyzone star, Stephen Gately, it was revealed that Ian 'H' Watkins from Steps passed away two weeks ago. He was also 33.

Friends and family are calling the death a Tragedy, and a private cremation and burial was conducted away from the public eye. The family have decided to release news about his passing in the wake of Gately's eqwually untimely passing.

Apparently, Louis Walsh has received threatening messages via the X Factor website.

Greater London Police are seeking a gang lord, who has allegedly been involved in the threats, rumoured to be long the lines of "Every week the Twins stay on X Factor, another member of Boyzone gets it."

I received a text message today from my best friend, concerning text messaging tarrifs - "The prices of text messages are now changing depending on how good looking you are. Mine are now free, but don't bother texting back, as it'll cost you a fortune!"

Of course the easy response to that is "Oh, so the more attractive you are the more you have to pay?"

Having a quiet night in for the first time in AGES, so I thought it would be prudent to drop by this place for a bit.

Uni isn't all that bad this term (only in lectures on tuesday and thursday), so the rest of the time is my own. You'd think I'd be more active than I am given that this is the case, but I spend a good deal of my time at my girlfriend's house at the moment, so I don't end up going on NG that much.

I've been getting online every day though this week, so that's cool, and even if I don't post on the forums I'll usually do a bit of lurking / modding. So yeah, I am around a bit more these days, for anyone who remembers me / cares. ;P

Just checking in on everyone. How has everything been, for you all? I've been alright...just thinking about my health. I'm scared I might have colitis from taking all those anti biotics during the summer.

Not posting much, but I still lurk around every now and then. : ( 30something

It's been up and down for me. I almost got a job recently but I misunderstood one thing and it'll actually be a while before I get anything.

Students aren't real people anyway so it's fine. We don't have to conform to normal social or behavoural conduct.

Indeed. I just need to knuckle down and prepare a few stories I've got in the pipeline. I just need to pry myself away from Blood Bowl for a while, but given that it's coming up for the weekend and then about a week and a half off work, I should be able to tempt myself with that when I'm not working :P

I dunno if any of you have seen this guys videos around on youtube, but a friend introduced me to his stuff the other day, and i thought it was funny as hell, so here's me sharing.

Rimi Kart.. I won't bother linking to his other videos as you have the thumbnails on youtube to watch all his stuff.
Some good ones are; Pacman, Rocky and Saving Private Remi.

What sort of time are we looking for the 25 miles? 2 hours would be pretty quick, as you'd be averaging just under 5 minutes to each mile.

Stretches and protein power are the best recommendations that I can give you. Oh, that and a sports massage, but I can't give you one of those :P

It's been a few years since I last cycled. The last time I did so was when I was still in high school. Ever since I left that shithole, I haven't touched my bike once.

Oh, you should, it's a great feeling - especially when you zip past a Gatso at over the speed limit and get flashed, knowing that they can't find you :P

In other news, I'm about to become a very sad individual - I'm planning on revisiting my steam-nut childhood and having a trip on the local steam railway, where they currently have the new engine that Jeremy Clarkson shovelled his guts out to get to Edinburgh from London. It's only there for this week, so I'm glad I've got the time off work :P

I took around four hours but stopped for lunch and a puncture that took unneccesarily long to fix. My guess is around three to three and a half hours of actual cycling
