Not to mention the obvious aura colour change.

You know, generally everyone who's not a mod makes such a fuss about how awesome it must be to be a mod. It's really not much different to being a regular user, except you get shit loads of more abusive PMs than normal.

We all just want the power to write witty remarks whilst banning people :P.

That's the only reason I'd want to be a mod.

Do you know how hard it is to write an eloquent and witty remark whilst banning someone in 200 characters?

I wouldn't waste my time. I imagine most people you ban aren't intelligent enough to understand anyway. I'd just give them a bloody stern 'Your mum!'.

I can see it now:

"Please give a short explanation for your ban:

Your mum!"

I think that might even get a worse reception than I got for the legitimate ban I handed out yesterday :P

Although this is the internet, it actually saddens me to know there are people who are the same age as me are this dumb.

I think it's a bit of both. Young generations now seem really stupid, to be frank. I mean, i know when you're a kid you do stupid things, but the youth today just seem to be less intelligent.

I think it's probably down to TV, the internet and music. All those young teenagers that want to be 'gangster' with their huge chains, and all that shit. If that wasn't flaunted all over TV and if all the big rap names didn't just sing about living it up in the VIP with the bling, bitches and Benjamins they might be a bit more normal.
And that's just one small area of the social graph.

Well, my appointment to the hospital for an examination on my right eye is tomorrow. I think I'll be fine, but I just wonder what the outcome will be.

You hit the nail on the head. Maybe it's just we're getting older, but on the other hand, there are so many things wrong with them such as what you said about gangsters. As teens and adults, they should be a lot better than this.

It has to be an alt. Only an alt account would get that excited over some deletions and things like that even after Coop clearly showed him the FAQ. At least I would really hope that people don't get that pissed off or are that stupid in real life... I just really hope...

Yeah. I think as i'm getting older i'm realizing this more and more. When i was in school it was cool to follow the latest trends or what not, even if it was stupid, now i see teens and hear the way they talk now and it just seems some of us are slowly de-evolving back to chimps -__-

I don't think today's kids/teens/whatever are any more stupid than those from other time periods/generations/whatever. Maybe I'm just too optimistic and not observant enough. I don't think it matters too much anyway. They're irrational until adulthood anyway, I'm sure it will all come together.

Just heard a funny joke, thought I'd share.

June 26: Farrah Fawcett died and went to heaven. she was granted one wish. The wish was for all the children in the world to be safe. One hour later, Michael Jackson dies.

Well, alt or not, he made quite a fuss - I tried to direct him to my colleagues as well, so we'll just see if that shuts him up now.

I've got my love of Cricket back today - 2 overs bowled, 1 maiden, 4 runs and 3 wickets :D

They might even give me a bowl next week now :P

But when you consider that the maiden contained the three wickets, I might even get in the local news rag :)

About the younger generations, I think it has a lot to do with the media. I think the trendy stuff is just getting a bit too rediculous.

Haha, hopefully, but I always get a little laugh out of it whenever I see someone get so excited over something. I'm sure being a review mod you see it a bit more and it's not as humorous when your the one that has to deal with it.

Ha, I have no clue about cricket, but you sound happy about it so I'm assuming what you did was good?

I tried my hand at pool again last night and remembered why I hate the game. Also, played some ping pong and remembered why I loved the game.

I've heard so many mixed reviews. I'll just go check it out for myself. It was a big deal here where I go to college, because there isn't much to do in the smaller town setting so whenever a new movie comes along the movies are packed full and it's hard to get in.

Also, for those who might not have noticed I used to be Corky52. Never liked the name so changed it to Fro, which happens to be my real life nickname.

Ha, I have no clue about cricket, but you sound happy about it so I'm assuming what you did was good?

You can only take a total of 10 wickets in the match and in theory, the maximum runs you can give away in an over is 36. That's about all you need to know about the first 6 balls I bowled, to take the three wickets for no runs ;)

I tried my hand at pool again last night and remembered why I hate the game. Also, played some ping pong and remembered why I loved the game.

Which type of pool? I like them both, but I think you're on about the one with the table :P

I always like to believe that people really don't get that upset over things, but as I remember when I was new to the site I was basically the same way. I wish there was a way for people to just relax sooner on and realize things aren't so serious.

Authorities are unsure if Michael Jackson died from a heart attack. Recent news shows that they are unsure of whether they should blame it on the sunshine, the moonlight, the good times, or the boogie.
