I say 'essay' for a quick reference, but it's actually creative fiction, so I have to plan everything myself, create a storyline, characters, setting, etc. It's a little more demanding than a proper essay in that way, because it's less analytical and more about getting your creativity going. Right now I'm feeling like crap and not in the mood to write.

Doubt it. I would imagine the UOTD feature works on user #ID rather than usernames.

MTE. While you don't see the ID# anymore with the exception of images, I'm pretty sure UOTD will recognise those who have been UOTD already by their ID#.
