What the fuck? There is absolutely no excuse for not knowing the geography of your own country to at least an average standard. You have no idea where mass. is and think iowa is near new england, yet you have no idea of geography past nevada, which suggests you only know nevada, california, oregon and washington maybe. There is NO FUCKING REASON WHY YOU SHOULDNT KNOW AT LEAST VAGUE AREAS OF YOUR COUNTRY. I can associate name and geographical location of about 75% of the counties in the UK, I reckon, and the same with districts in france, italy, spain, and states in the US.

I like them, personally, but I guess it's down to taste (even though I've never come across somebody who doesn't like them yet). Sean Connery is a legend as Indy's dad though.

I'd say my knowledge of British geography is slightly above average. Probably could be better though.

As long as it's not just one word that contributes nothing whatsoever to the thread, I don't mind. You have to agree, though, that 99.9% of the time, one word posts are simply not worth making. Common sense dictates that if you only have one word to say, it's probably not going to contribute a whole lot.

I just don't want to see this place go down the shitter, which is where it seems to be heading sometimes.

Maybe once in a while, yeah, a one-word post is amusing, as long as the timing and context is right - but because people have tried to do that SO much, it's been overused and it's just not really that funny anymore.

Anywho, just got back from Oceanside.

It was pretty fun.

The only downside to the whole vacation was that 1. I got burnt and 2. I got locked out of my room and slept in the hallway.

That would piss me off. I got really sunburnt when I went to Portugal in summer 2006... playing beach rugby with minimal sunblock on in the baking heat was a terrible idea.
