I think the idea like the Wi/Ht lounge is a great idea... I think handing out numbers would be a great idea cause i know some people post more in the C&C than others, and they should be the ones recognized with numbers... But that just my thoughts...

ok heres how we'll elect members.

first we shall elect 3 members tomorrow, then from then on, about 1-5 a week. then once we have around 20 we will do it randomly, as time goes on we'll make the time it takes to elect longer. maybe about a couple months.

I hope the Wi/Ht members don't get upset that we use the election idea too.

naw, i dont like that. you see, when somebody is being an ass they can be warned by a mod or something. but if you have a problem with somebody, bring it up in e-mail or IM them or something like that. you see, by saying they're an asshat and telling them to get out of here. they're going to want to piss you off more for kicking them out, and then they'll just keep posting and being a jerkwad

We have decided to eliminate keeping track of all the people who post here, and everyone can post here, just like you can go in any other forum's lounge and post in those. We will just be giving out a weekly title to a few people who deserve it. The ranks we implament in no way institute people with the power to have control over who can post and who can't, or the right to be a dick. Here is what I posted before.
We will elect people who stay active and mature [and lovable] on the cc forums and in the lounge into CCRL Member Status. All the people I had on my smaller list, as well as the rest of the people who have posted already just become(or stay) the ideal C&C regular. Being a member won't give you any privilages or -powers- over other users, but it should just be a title, a reward, you get for staying a good active user on these parts of the BBS.

So, that is the last we will discuss about membership and such. Now, wewait for some random discussion to grow. yesss..

Let me tell you all the story of my retrogade account. (you've heard this iamnone).
Back in the days of retrogades birth into the intraweb, I decided to join. I, jokingly, typed in TomFulp as the user name since I couldn't think of anything else good at the moment. To my suprise, it registered, and my accounts perminant alias was TomFulp. SNAP. So, I forget about my account for a week or so, then I decide to submitt some of my work, but the password doesn't work. I have it email me the password, but the email has been changed. I open AIM and message Josh about this horrible mishappening. He says that he switched the account info for Tom Fulp himself! Blasphemy! Since when do you reserve account names for people on the internet. I not only had all of my stuff and work on that account, but also a really nice looking signup date. He could've changed my alias or emailed me about it, but NOO, he just had to hijack and hand over my account. You can tell what bad karma has went his way though, since he is now homeless. What goes around, comes around, and bites you in the ass twice as hard. : ' (

We're not ripping them off, its just an election. we wont make a list, maybe we can share the one from the wi/hter if they dont mind. other then that we'll just post here that someone has been elected. if they dont like the idea we simply wont keep trac of members. All you have to do to join is just post.

well noir, maybe there should be C&C members, and C&C regulars.
