By the people who have posted in this thread so far, there are a select few that I think would be good C&C Members(what a title! ). If I don't say your name don't feel discouraged, I will ask more people to join. Afterall, this thread has been up for less than a day. Why did spam ever come to be used as a word meainig meaningless posts that wast space , I like spam (the"meat" not the stuff you see on the Net) anyone know (would post in Gen. but probably would be considered spam itself

Maybe we set it up like the frat with the first fove or six posters or ones you feel would work out the best as being the leaders.

They then vote people in. Once we have a good enough starting members we run it like the Wi/Ht lounge

For those that arnt familiar with that Lounge, members elect numbers for people, every few months.

Excellent idea sir. This is what I had in mind before I made this club, but I wasn't really sure if it would settle well with the crowd. Just to get the ball rolling, BareNakedMike #2. We will elect people who stay active and mature [and lovable] on the cc forums and in the lounge into CCRL Member Status. All the people I had on my smaller list, as well as the rest of the people who have posted already just become(or stay) the ideal C&C regular. Being a member won't give you any privilages or -powers- over other users, but it should just be a title, a reward, you get for staying a good active user on these parts of the BBS.

yea that is an awesome idea, I didnt want to have this whole fight over becoming a member too, also my list was just a who said "I'll join" basically.

okay. heres a little idea about this stuff:

1. no leaders, no ranks no shit like that. this is a lounge where anybody and everybody is free to frequent. leaders wont really do shit because theres no need for it.

2. no "members" you aren't a member, you're a poster. just be clicking on the clubs and crews link you've automatically "joined" i mean. we're all equal here. we dont need people deciding who can post or not. thats just not cool.

3. no bickering. this is a place to chill. if you want to keep it open, dont fuck it up. if there's a problem. dont bring it up in here, use Email or a messenger service.

4. when people do post spam. ignore it. they probably wont come back anyway and it'll just land you a ban from a mod.

these are just simple things i've found work in the other forums. so if its not broke, why fix it?
